A bright atmostphere and friendly staff! The cafe sua da is the best in New Orleans (which is saying a lot since we have a big Vietnamese community!). The thit kho was a lovely surprise because it’s not commonly on the menu at Vietnamese restaurants. The sauce is light and sweet with tender meat. The goi thit thom was one of my favorite dishes. It’s crunchy, spicy, light, and flavorful. We also had the lemongrass tofu and the lemongrass is so good, I wanted extra! Finishing off with che thai that wasn’t too sweet and the right note to finish a wonderful meal. Great place to visit with friends!

This charming little spot is delicious. Finally things on the menu beyond pho, bahn mi, rolls, and vermicelli. The braised pork shoulder was out of this world. I am happy it is in the neighborhood and look forward to coming back.

So thrilled to have Moi in the neighborhood! My experience was incredible – had shrimp fresh rolls and fell for the lemongrass fried tofu. Can’t wait to be back to try more dishes. Service was top notch as well.

This place is fantastic. The appetizers are large enough to be a good lunch on their own. I’ll be eating here every week.

Worst bun bo hue I’ve ever had. Does not even taste like bun bo hue broth AT ALL. Red flag was when they brought out SHREDDED lettuce (as it is not considered a regular herb for viet dishes) Their saving grace was the egg rolls. Bun rieu tasted like water mixed with one tiny scoop of shrimp paste. I respect that they offer pork hock & the blood cubes but I promise you that was not anywhere close to Bun Bo hue broth. Server is nice, restaurant is beautiful but their food did not taste like Vietnamese cuisine at all.

I love this gem of a place. I just returned from Vietnam and Moi’s flavors rivals those in Ho Chi Minh . The curry is so savory and the pork spring rolls – so fresh. Trish really took care of me and the owner checked on me personally as well. I will be back again and again.

Im on vacation and found this lovely new Vietnamese restaurant. The staff was so nice. I ordered the Vietnamese chicken curry. Not spicy but full of flavor. I also ordered a salted lemonade. Wonderful. Highly recommend.

They don’t serve phở but their bún bò Huế (spicy beef noodle soup) and đậu hủ nhân thịt và sốt cà chua (pork stuffed tofu with tomato sauce) makes this my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in New Orleans.

Will definitely visit again to try out the other dishes.
