This place from the moment we parked till when we left was Excellent… Only problem for us, is that it’s too far away.
Service was attentive, & friendly, drinks were great, and the food was delicious.. Would love to visit again..

We had a wonderful dinner last night at the Mohawk House for our office Christmas party. It was a first experience for all of us at this location.
The restaurant is presented beautiful from the moment you arrive. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. The service was so well, in fact the best we have ever had any place! Our waiter Manuel was exceptional though out the night and was a great photographer for us at the end of the evening.
With the snow falling outside it was a prefect evening, the only thing missing was a Christmas Tree inside for our photos.

Outstanding dining experience.
Met with our party at the bar for a drink upon arrival. Beautiful decor, historic building. Great double sided fireplace, with seating area to one side, dining room to the other.
Fantastic service, everything ordered was cooked to perfection and served timely.
Very relaxed atmosphere with no rushing you through the meal
Overall great experience, and easily one of the best restaurants we have visited in years.
Steaks were outstanding, and the grilled octopus was the consensus choice for best dish among our group.
Be prepared to spend $100-$200 per person for drinks and three courses.
But worth every penny!
We will most definitely be back.

It was my wifes birthday dinner and decided to come here, with my daughter and mother in-law. When we first got there the host was very rude and arrogant. When we first sat down and got our drinks I noticed that our waiter was by himself for the whole place and waiting on 6 more tables beside us. But the waiter gave us his all and good service and food was very good. Only disappointed with was the prices are very high and there was no kids menu whatsoever.

My experience was fully bad. The price point of this place is equal to Ruth’s Chris, yet the quality doesn’t even come close. My steak was chewy. I told the waiter. Their solution was to cook the same steak more. So I had to sacrifice my choice of medium-rare, and the chewiness was not resolved. Furthermore, a manager never came to the table to follow through and make sure I was happy…. and I wasn’t. They should have made sure the problem was resolved for the $100 I paid for my plate.

The remainder of the food was mediocre as well and my whole family was disappointed. I maintained my composure because I didn’t want to complain repeatedly. But this meant I left unhappy and grew resentful overnight. The bill was $300 for truly bad food. Why bother with this place when you can spend the same at Ruth’s Chris and be assured excellent food and service? I really hate feeling ripped off, and that’s how this place left me feeling. The server was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere was above average. But that is about all I can say good.

Our group had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed our dinner and the fabulous drinks! The smoked old fashion was a favorite. All the food was delicious! The restaurant is beautiful as well as the sweeping views. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. We had a group of 20 people for a post-meeting business dinner with our Leadership team. We reserved the Fireplace room for a private dinner/event and it was amazing.

All the staff were great and very attentive!
Charlie especially was awesome – he made sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was taken care of. He also joined in our fun of us trying to guess what the others in our group seated at another table ordered off the pre-fixe menu for dinner and dessert, we were taking over-under bets haha. He had a great sense of humor and made it even more fun for us which everyone loved!

We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for all your hospitality!

Mohawk House is hands down one of the best dining experiences in the area! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautifully designed space that feels both upscale and inviting. The attention to detail in every aspect—from the craft cocktails to the expertly curated menu—truly sets this place apart.

The food is outstanding, with locally sourced ingredients and creative dishes that never disappoint. Whether you’re in the mood for a perfectly cooked steak, fresh seafood, or a unique seasonal special, you can taste the quality and passion behind every bite.

The service is top-notch, with a knowledgeable and friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect. The bar program is also exceptional, offering an impressive selection of wines, craft beers, and handcrafted cocktails that are as delicious as they are creative.

Mohawk House is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Whether you’re coming in for a romantic dinner, a celebration, or just a great night out, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!

Came to Mohawk House for our anniversary to celebrate. The building and grounds were absolutely beautiful. Staff was wonderful and attentive. Unfortunately the food was mediocre, at best. My husband ordered a steak that was under seasoned and had an odd texture. It wasn’t juicy or tender, but seemed to have a lot of gristle and was oddly tough. At $70+, it was extremely disappointing and he couldn’t finish it.
The rest of our meal felt fine. Not great, just fine. Disappointing for the price.

The 3 of us just went for Thanksgiving dinner. $420.00 was way too much for the small portions and just ok food. Between the 3 of us we had 4 glasses of cheap wine. One appetizer split (2 pcs. thick bacon). One piece of hockey puck size fish and 2 filet 8 oz. portions with a bowl of french fries. No dessert! With the $80.00 tip it was $500.00. Definitely not worth the money! I would not recommend this place.
