Went here for my Aunt Patty’s retirement party on a Sunday night. We had a group of about 20 people and the service was great. The menu is pretty extensive and they have a nice variety of items. I got the turkey Devonshire and it was pretty good. I have to say that everyone on our party was happy with their order and the kids and I had a blast playing their coin pusher arcade game they have in the vestibule.

Had a Christmas party here with 10 other family members. Everyone ordered apps and all arrived hot and delicious. The fried cheese was a table favorite. We had several pitchers of soda, unsweetened tea, raspberry tea etc. and they were constantly being refilled.
Individual fare included ribs (excellent), baked fish, spaghetti and steak hoagie. Everyone was more than happy with their meals. All orders were prepared correctly and delivered to the table quickly. I had the Jambalaya Pasta. Words can’t describe how good it was. Plenty of grilled chicken, shrimp and sausage in a fantastic sauce over pasta. I was so busy enjoying my dinner, that I didn’t take a picture!! Too bad because the presentation was on point.
After tasting multiple desserts (carrot cake, cheesecake with strawberries and Dutch apple pie…I couldn’t pick a favorite! Highly recommend this place. Oh, and a special shout out to our server Joe. Laid back, totally cool with a great sense of humor.

We took family from out of town Friday and were highly disappointed. The pasta we all ordered was dry , little sauce no rolls and we were given wrong wine.We were still charged for wine too. We spent over $100 and I have never been so upset with Mohans. Our family has been going there for years but no more. Server was great but food a .

I was extremely disappointed with my dinner on Friday Dec. 6, 2025. As I am from out of town and sorry to say will never return. My family resides in Penn Hills and spoke highly of your Establishment. Pasta sauce was bad. Salad dressing was old and had an odd taste. Chicken was obviously made with old oil. Server was adequate. Suggest you consider your cooking and maybe your business will improve.

Really unfortunate that I have to write a less than stellar review for Mohan’s. We were really excited to give this local spot a try, given its reputation. We got there and there were a lot of open tables, so we assumed it would be a painless smooth service. We both ordered drinks, Cesar salads for lunch, and each got a side of either wings or fries. The salads arrived 15 minutes later, before our drinks arrived, and we were very confused. The salad “lettuce” was very thin, similar to shredded lettuce you may find on a taco, and the salad itself was very small (see image). It took us another 10 minutes to flag down our server to ask her if this was the full size, and she said that she assumed we only wanted the side portion. We waited another 25-30 minutes, and finally all our food arrived, but the lettuce was the same thin shredded consistency. At this point it was just good to be getting any service, so we ate what we could and left. Very disappointed, especially considering there were many open tables while we were present. Will not be returning and will not be recommending unfortunately.

Just got taken for $10 for a 1/2 of an Italian hoagie. I order with out the sub salad so what I received was a nice toasted bun garnished with a touch of meat and cheese. When this happens to me at other restaurants I normally cut bun in half put all meat on half and throw the rest of bun away and lesson learned. Wasn’t enough meat or cheese for that though, so I’m writing a rare review to warn everyone. Server said that was normal serving size. I will be spreading the word by mouth, forever. I ounce took a customer service class that tought an unhappy customer is on average going to tell 9 people, they grossly underestimated my determination.

We ordered a banana creme pie, and got pumpkin, with pecans. That could have been a deadly error, as several in our family are allergic to peanuts/ nuts/ tree nuts
Slow on service. A decent place for a family/ group of friends, to get together.
Overall, would still recommend. We will return, to try something else.
