I had high expectations for Mogo since there’s always a long line, but honestly, I left disappointed. I spent about $20 for three tacos, and only one of them was even halfway decent.
The fish taco was the best of the bunch, the flavor was decent, and it had a nice crunch. But the tortilla itself was cold and bland, almost like it came straight out of a grocery store package. The shrimp taco had good seasoning, but the batter was undercooked and mushy, which ruined it. The chicken taco was by far the worst: super overcooked, dry, and had a strange taste. To make it worse, it came topped with cilantro, which wasn’t listed on the menu.
The small kimchi cucumber side was actually the highlight, fresh and tasty. But the regular kimchi was mushy and unpleasant.
On top of the food issues, the service setup was incredibly inefficient. The line moves painfully slow, and it took forever just to get through a few customers. It’s baffling that they don’t have a simple QR code or mobile ordering option in 2025, the wait feels unnecessary and outdated.
Overall, Mogo wasn’t worth the hype, the price, or the wait.

My favorite place to eat lunch when I’m at the beach in Asbury or Long Branch!

Last summer while driving around New Jersey, we stopped to look at the beach and the Stone Pony and stopped here for a quick lunch. This is a pop up food stall. We had the tacos and ate looking at the beach and ocean. Very nice. Hope they return every summer.

We came here before a concert at the Stone Pony. The tacos were fantastic! We ordered two beef bulgogi, one fish, and one chicken taco. They were delicious and were surprisingly filling. The cucumbers that were free were also very good. We will return every time we go to the Stone Pony

The flavor profile was amazing . John was at the register and was very insightful! We had the wings , burger , bowl and donut . I must say it was all delightful. The sweet but spicy was amazing ! The wings were great quality with lots of meat. The only thing I think they can improve on is portions. There wasn’t much meat in the bowl and the donut was 4.50 but the size of cookie. But I will say big flavors in small bites ! Will definitely be returning !

Mogo is a great little place to grab delicious Korean style tacos without having to leave the beach. I am not sure if I go to Mogo because the beach is there or if I go to the beach because Mogo is there They also have refreshing tropical/summer beverages to enjoy.

MOGO is my fiancé and I’s favorite restaurant. I’ve been going here since 2017 and every experience has been consistently delicious. I’ve never had a bad experience. We love this place so much we’re catering tacos to our wedding as a gift for our guests! Their pork taco is award winning, but I always get the tofu and shrimp tacos because I’m pescatarian.

My boyfriend and I ordered the beef and chicken tacos. He loved them, especially the beef! He did mention that the chicken tacos were a little bland.
I didn’t really like it. I ordered the beef and it was sweet. I like my beef salty. Generally, I like my tacos salty and with an acidic flavor. These were too sweet for me. If you like your tacos sweet, I would go for it. I gave this place four stars because my boyfriend loved it!

Tacos were good. Not amazing, but certainly good. If you go later, be prepared for some of the options to be sold out. Wanted beef and pork, but both were sold out. Had to settle for chicken and shrimp.
Service was quick and friendly enough (considering it was 11pm). Took off the star since both of my preferred options were sold out
