Such friendly staff! “Welcome to Moe’s” announced every time someone walks in. Great family friendly environment.

3 Stars- The Stacker and Steak Soft Taco were just okay. The steak was decently tender but appeared to be boiled/baked, was grey in color, and not a lot of flavor/seasoning. The tomatillo salsa and guacamole were decent, but not something I would order again. I did appreciate the lemon, or lime juice added in the guacamole, it definitely helped. The house made salsa was better than some restaurants I have been to. I thought the chocolate chip cookie was going to be hard as a rock but when I had a bite it was soft, which was a pleasant surprise. Not a bad cookie at all.

4 Stars – within the Stacker was fresh pico, veggies – onions and green peppers. The pico was delicious. I could see the browning on the veggies, that they were grilled or sautéed which is nice. The queso was light and had good flavor.
The spicy house made salsa was very good as well. A tad bit spicy, but big flavor.

3*** = Just Okay
4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back.
5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

I stopped by for dinner last night for yelp elite week! The restaurant itself is very clean and the people behind the counter were very informative about the menu. I opted for the adobo chicken with rice, pinto beans, corn, grilled veggies, and queso! It was huge!! I could only eat half of it. They’re even nice enough to give me a side of queso and chips! The drink options are great! They even have Herbert’s lemonade! This might be my new favorite lunch spot. Thank you so much to Yelp for the great hospitality and hot sauce!! Thank you to Moe’s for the great food and kind service!

Thank you Yelp and Bailey for organizing another great Elite Week event at Moe’s Southwest Grill. This Tex-Mex-inspired restaurant concept offers customizable bowls and burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. Every customer gets free chips and salsa with every order, and they have multiple specials throughout the week. We got to try the “Moe’s Stacker,” an elevated version of Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap Supreme that you get to create. It was so good and came with several sauces, including Moe’s famous queso. The only bad thing is that we don’t have one in our neighborhood; luckily, we have an electric car!

We were in the area looking for a place to eat lunch after a morning of hiking. We noticed Moe’s out of the corner of my eye. I’d not only never heard of them I’d never noticed this location before. There is still some construction in the area so I’m guessing it was fairly new. Upon entering we were greeted with,”Welcome to Moe’s.” We were told it was National Burrito Day so any bowl or burrito was but one get one free. We chose one of each. Steak burrito and my bowl with chicken. They had good selections of toppings. Reminded me of a place that shall not be named, but way more reasonably priced. Our meals came with chips and salsa. Service was wonderful and when asked I was told there been open since mid December. Location was clean and food was delicious. I’d definitely be back when in the area.

Love Moe’s Southwest Grill. Used to frequent the Moe’s in the Pearl Ridge Shopping Center back home in Oahu, Hawaii. We’ve since relocated to Arizona and while cruising around we noticed the Moe’s Southwest Grill (Goodyear).

Decided to give it a try and see if it was anything like the one back home. To our surprise it was very similar. The food was plentiful and delicious, the staff is friendly and greet us every time with a “Welcome to Moe’s” whenever we come in to eat, and you have a variety of specials to choose from in addition to your regular menu.

However there is one incident that I would like to bring up. Recently, T-Mobile ran a Tuesday special with Moe’s. There may have been some complaints about the restaurant during that time but it wasn’t completely the fault of the staff at Moe’s. The restaurant was deluged with customers wanting to take advantage of the special. Who could blame them, the staff just couldn’t keep up, though they tried valiantly. There were a lot of customers.

Through all the mayhem the staff were professional, tried to be accommodating considering the situation they were in, and kept everyone abreast of inventory and possible shortages. We ate in the restaurant while all this was going on. Customers coming through the door was non-stop. The manager, Jessica, was doing her best with the staff to accommodate all the customers. She deserves credit for not letting things get out of control and should be commended. In my humble opinion, things could have gotten a lot worse, but Jessica handled it like a champ. Maybe you should consider not doing a one night special or break it up over a few days.

Anyways, enough of that. The restaurant as a whole is great. Nice to have a Moe’s Southwest Grill close by that we can come in and have a nice meal. Been there many times already and haven’t been disappointed yet. Jessica and her team have been awesome!!!

So this was my first time at a Moes establishment tonight. I decided to give it a go for my cheat day and splurge. Never again! I went in at 7:30pm, mind you they close at 9pm. So plenty of time left for a somewhat fast food pace restaurant. I was greeted by a worker who informed me they would be closing soon so what they had left was all they had. Plus they had a special on bowls tonight so once they were out they were out. (Still open for 1.5 hour). Mind you I work in food service and know they should change the pans out every 2 hours depending on the product. So if they were already out of proteins with 1.5 hour left who knows how long the other proteins had sat there. I mean the ground beef looked so dry and unstirred. It honestly made me second guess myself on if I really wanted to eat the food. But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt for being my first time. Well I ordered a bowl and chips with queso because who doesn’t like queso. It took all 3 employees workingnin FOH to wait on me and make my bowl which I didnt understand. I go to checkout and the kid who rang me up gave me back the wrong the change, the drawer will be short tonight BTW. I sat down to eat my bowl. My chicken was super dry and hard. Then I was like let’s try the chips with queso. Oh wow the chips were super stale and the queso got super thick. I was just super disappointed. You should always be prepared for customer until 9pm when you close.

I would like to begin with the positive aspects. The food was satisfactory; I can only comment on the rice, meat, and fresh vegetables. The steak was enjoyable, and it was served in a bowl. However, there were some negative aspects to my experience. I ordered a steak bowl, but the portion of meat was quite small, primarily consisting of rice. While the vegetables were fresh, the amount of steak was insufficient. When I inquired about the portion size, I was informed that more meat was being prepared, but that this was the typical serving size. The photograph clearly shows a lack of visible meat. Additionally, the green salsa was unpalatable, tasting primarily of cilantro, parsley, and pepper. I felt that the $21 price for a rice bowl and soda was excessive, despite the pleasant taste. In my opinion, the value did not justify the cost.

We always said Arizona could use a “Moe’s”, and now we have it! Grand opening day was a success. The staff were really on their “A” game today, and deserve all the praise. They were friendly, knowledgeable, personable & efficient. Major “pat on the back” to the trainer who came in from Florida to help, and to all the staff, for smiling even with all the chaos of the “first day”. The location was shockingly small, but really pretty inside. The food was flavorful and fresh just like the Moe’s locations we remember from back home. Sadly I didn’t get a chance to take pictures of our food, as we just devoured it immediately upon getting home (it was that good). Overall, what a great experience… you guys did absolutely amazing on launch day and we can’t wait to return again very soon!

Pretty upset that I purchased a butrito and it comes barely packaged with everything falling apart. They loaded it up so much that it couldnt even be rolled into a burrito. Looks like they used foil to cover the portion that stayed open. Extremely upset and disgusted.
