Over the years, Moe’s has carved out a place in the hearts (and stomachs) of many with its promise of Tex-Mex goodness. However, a concerning trend has emerged: a noticeable decline in both the quality of their food and the standard of service. What was once a reliable spot for a quick and tasty meal has, for many, become a source of disappointment.

One of the most common complaints is the diminishing quality of ingredients. The once-fresh veggies now seem wilted, the meat lacks its signature flavor, and the salsas taste watered down. This shift not only affects the taste but also reflects a lack of respect for the customer.

Coupled with the decline in food quality is a noticeable drop in the standard of service. Attentive and friendly staff are becoming increasingly rare. Often, customers are met with indifference or even outright rudeness. Orders are taken incorrectly, requests are ignored, and complaints are dismissed. This lack of attention to customer needs creates a negative dining experience that leaves a lasting impression.

I want to start by acknowledging the impressive performance of the staff and the high level of customer service they provided during my visit. The team was efficient, professional, and handled requests promptly. They remained attentive, ensuring all needs were met, and maintained a polite demeanor throughout. Their ability to manage the dining experience smoothly was evident, and they deserve recognition for their consistent effort in keeping operations running well. The service was a clear strength, with the staff demonstrating competence and focus in their roles, making the overall experience pleasant.However, the food quality was disappointing. Specifically, the quality of the meats was subpar, lacking the tenderness and flavor expected. The dishes, in general, didn’t meet the standards one would anticipate from a place with such strong service. The flavors were bland, and the presentation was uninspired, which stood out against the staff’s efforts. To repeat, the staff did an excellent job, and their work was a highlight. Unfortunately, the food, particularly the subpar meats, fell short of expectations. The kitchen needs improvement to align the culinary experience with the high standard set by the staff’s performance. P.s The salsa bar is a added plus.

Left tortilla on the griddle and started counting at register, nobody to worry about food on griddle which made it chewy bread. Didn’t even ask for any drink or other side if I wanted to order or not. They were interested more in complete their shift after counting the register.

I had a really disappointing experience at Moe’s. I came in well over an hour before closing, but the worker was clearly more focused on cleaning up and shutting down than actually serving customers. I ordered a Stack, expecting a crispy Crunchwrap-style item, but what I got was completely soggy and falling apart. You could tell the worker knew it didn’t turn out right — she looked visibly frustrated — but instead of remaking it, she just handed it over anyway. It felt like they just wanted me out of there so they could finish closing. Moe’s used to be great, but it’s changed a lot lately, and honestly, the employees in Memphis are a big part of the problem. Really disappointing.

Unfortunately, we have had so many friends’ fathers, mother, and spouses past recently. Moe’s has always been so kind to help me love on our friends through food. They are quick, efficient, kind, and SO generous!

This was pathetic. The employee making my burrito stopped midway, took her glove off, and made a phone call. While on the phone, she began assembling my burrito. I had to talk over her conversation to tell her what I wanted on it. She wrapped it so poorly that it fell apart immediately.

As the photos show, the restaurant is filthy. The bathroom was disgusting.

Do better. I’m sorry, but why would you want to operate do poorly?

Just left after ordering 2 Nacho
Bowls. They had multiple orders laid out for catering so I patiently waited for them to serve me. Everything I asked for I was given barely half of a scoop of. Both employees were very lackluster in attitude but I understood because of the catering orders. Here is my problem… my bowl has 6 pieces of chicken and damn near no queso. I never had dry nachos from Moe’s but these are beyond dry. My boyfriend’s bowl is the way. Skimping out on food because the store has a big catering order is not the customers problem. Customers should still receive normal portions. I won’t ever return after being a Moe’s customer for 6+ years.

I want to give a big shout-out to Marlisha W and the entire team at Moe’s on Germantown Parkway! This location truly goes above and beyond every single time I visit. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious, and the restaurant is consistently clean and welcoming. The staff are kind, professional, and genuinely care about providing excellent service.

Marlisha, in particular, deserves special recognition. She always greets me with a smile, remembers details about my order, and makes me feel valued as a customer. Her positive attitude and attention to detail make every visit a great experience. She is a true example of what outstanding customer service should look like, and she represents this location with excellence.

Even though I’ve recently moved a little farther away, I still go out of my way to come to this specific Moe’s. That should tell you how much I appreciate the service and atmosphere here. This has become my favorite Moe’s, and I genuinely look forward to stopping by whenever I’m in the area.
