I have always loved Moe’s but have avoided this location for a long time because of seeing very mixed reviews on the quality. However, I have a giftcard and this location delivers to my address so I ordered delivery for us–one burrito, one stack, and a cup of guac. We honestly threw our food away which I have never done–everything tasted weirdly sour? Even the guac? The rice was hard to the point that I spit it out? I can’t even comment beyond that because I just had a feeling I shouldn’t keep eating the food. The chips and salsa were fine, though. Definitely bummed out and glad I used my giftcard and not my own money. Ordered takeout from Taco Bell last week and it was a million times better than this unfortunately.

We love this location! Alan does a nice job making the food quick and with generous portions. Jayden is amazing: Always accommodating, kind to every customer and does the job with a friendly attitude. Even my two year old says “Jayden is so nice!” Moe’s has delicious food and the BEST deals.

I came into this Penfield Moe’s location with nothing but average expectations. Little did I know, my visit would be anything but. It had already been a whirlwind of a day, darting back and forth across the county, running errands and such, and I was looking forward to some good ol’ Moe’s to fill me up and calm me down. Immediately upon entering, I was met with a hearty and genuine “Welcome to Moe’s!” and smiles across the prep line. As I perused the vast menu, I felt no imminent rush or pressure to step forward and was able to relax and make the proper choice: a bowl. As I stepped forward to begin my order, I was met by a spry gentleman wearing a pink hoodie that said ‘Good Vibes’ (how apropos) and a Moe’s visor, ready to prepare my food. A visor of all things – gotta love company pride.
I requested a bowl with cilantro-lime white rice. He gracefully scooped a solid portion into the bottom of my bowl, dutifully preparing the bed for which the rest of the ingredients would lie. After making the easy choice of black beans over pinto, it was time to choose a protein. I was hoping for carnitas (pork) and was disappointed to discover this was no longer an option, but Mr. Moe’s swooped in to save the day – suggesting the Adobo Chicken, which would fill a similar niche. I trusted the advice. I then went on to request grilled peppers and onions, fresh pico de gallo, shredded cheese, lettuce, pickled jalapeños piled sky high, and a drizzle of sour cream. All for under $10. Simply unbeatable.
After paying, I nearly couldn’t lift the bowl off the counter. I was given complimentary chips and my choice of six salsas. It was a beautiful evening, so I elected to sit out on the patio, overlooking the scenic and bustling New York State Route 250. A number of customers came and went as I took my time with this delicious and filling meal. I was absolutely stuffed by the end of my two hour stay. Stuffed full to the brim by Mr. Moe’s. I guess you could say I needed a Moe-ment. As I cleaned up, I congratulated the diligent staff on a job well done as they tended to various tasks. They all wished me farewell and requested I return before too long. I assured them I would. Highly recommend this Moe’s over any other. The staff make all the difference. I will be back. 11/10

This locations has been going down hill for years. Tonight when we picked our order (4 meals) which included a cup of queso we were only given a handful of chips. When we asked if could have enough to eat the queso we were told they were cutting back on chips. When we got home we discovered the chips were burned and mostly crumbs. We’ll definitely be ordering from Monte Alban next week!

Definitely needs a good cleaning in the restaurant…. I could only imagine what the back looks like… Food was not hot at all. Rice was over cooked and had no flavor. Won’t be coming back…

My boss and I came here for lunch today and I my god. The 3 guys working were all miserable. No sort of customer service at all. Throwing stuff around, having a attitude. The food didn’t look fresh either. Realized the one guy put both of my stackers on top of each other in one container, so when I got back to work me and my co worker had to figure who’s was who’s. Why not separate them. I know nowadays customer service has went out the window but I’m all set on returning back to Moe’s. Be grateful you have a job. Period.

This is one of my favorite Moe’s locations to go to. The workers were all very nice and both meals we got (only the burrito bowl pictured) were delicious. It was clean inside and the seating is set up where there’s more options for “private seating” and bigger tables for families too!

Missing food items in my delivery and was told I either had to pick up the missing items or pay for delivery again. Waste of money and arrived cold anyway.

The food is fine but the wait time is insane. Doesn’t seem to be well run. I showed up at 6:40 for my order that was supposed to be done at 6:35. I waited another 20 minutes for my food and it was not busy inside. A handful of people eating. I’m not sure what was going on but hopefully they can improve it.

Same experience as much of the newer reviews. Ordered takeout, and much to my dismay food was missing. Drove the 13 mins. back again. About 4 staff were talking with each other, ignoring customers, and sitting on the counters behind the register. They were dismissive initially then rude when I expressed my dissatisfaction.
I feel bad for the one poor girl with glasses who was actually preparing food.
