We found this awesome BBQ by smell. Sounds weird, but we could smell it long before we knew what it was and the smell sold us instantly.
We made the 1/2 mile trek down Perdido Beach Blvd and found it, the holy grail hidden amongst unsuspecting chain restaurants. From the stickers on the door to the awesome signs out front – we knew we were in for something good.
The nachos: amazing
The pulled pork: the most tender, fall apart pulled pork we have ever had. Anywhere (from Kansas City and beyond)
The smoked chicken: juicy and tender
The sides: I think one of the kids ate no less than five sides of baked beans. The Mac n cheese was a bit dry, but the humidity outside made up for it.
Seating (inside and outside) was ample and the outside area had the best play area for kiddos.
Will definitely be back!

My family and I loved Moe’s! I love the laid-back atmosphere. There’s seating available inside and outside. There’s lots of cool art and pictures on the wall that I enjoyed looking at. The staff was friendly and helpful when ordering.
I had the loaded baked potato with smoked chicken, and it was delicious and very filling.
I tried the Ribs my husband ordered (I forgot to get a pic), but they were tender and flavorful.
The children enjoyed chicken tenders, grilled cheese, fried Catfish, mac & cheese and homemade chips! Despite being very picky they loved everything!
They offer different specials each day.
They have a nice stage out back with live music some nights. The location is convenient. Moe’s was a hit with us, and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Normally I shy away from a chain BBQ place. But, the past reviews were correct. The pork had a nice smokey flavor. The service was outstanding. The chocolate Orea pudding was a nice side. It looked like many locals were they, which is a good sign. The atmosphere was very creative.

Had a very good lunch here. The wife got the pulled pork sandwich which was very good and I got the sausage sandwich and fries. It was really tasty. They use Conecuh Sausage which if you haven’t had it you need to get some!! The outside has a nice atmosphere.

Late night in a whim we pulled into Moe’s and turned out great! The ribs were amazing, wings were great, and the atmosphere was great as well!
Grabbed a shirt and some dry rub, glad I did since they’re not listed online for sale!

Food was decent. Loved the Mac n cheese and mashed potato and gravy sides more than anything. Turkey and chicken were moist but lacking the smokey flavor. The white sauce and bbq sauce helped. The hand made chips were good. Nachos easily feed two. Brisket is only on Wednesdays and you need to go in the first 30ish minutes they are open or they sell out.

We see so many bbq restaurants and the food is always just eh. The meat is never warm or juicy and somehow that’s supposed to be acceptable, I just never understood that thought.
Then, I found Moe’s. This place means business! And, amazingly, I got warm and juicy meat!! The pork was so tasty. I don’t think I have ever had anything near its level of quality to compare.
I’m a potato salad “snob” and theirs did not disappoint because you could taste the freshness and skill put into the salad.
The vinegar based Cole slaw had a lot of crisp with a slight touch of sweet. The Mac and cheese was old skool good and definitely should not be overlooked as a side possibility.
The corn bread was a nice addition, too. I have never had it served fried as this was and man! It was surprisingly good.
The restaurant itself was nice. It’s a quick little place with clean tables and a couple tvs inside next to where you would order for dine in or to go. They had some cute artifacts on the wall. One, in particular, brought back so many memories as I recalled my own cassette tape collection.
The best part of all was the service. The gals behind the counter are the real deal. They know their product and they know how to take care of customers.

Absolutely loved Moe’s BBQ in Orange Beach! The smoked turkey sandwich was incredible—you could literally taste the smoke in every bite. If you get the pulled pork, do yourself a favor and try it Bama Style. The tangy slaw and white sauce combo takes it to the next level. Cool vibes and fast service. A must-visit if you’re looking for BBQ near Orange Beach!

Hope was awesome! Guided us to the house favorites. I chose the special: bacon wrapped meatloaf. Savory and well paired with the included cornbread. I also chose potato salad and butter beans (since I prefer creamy coleslaw and theirs is vinegar based). My dining guests had the pork sandwich and ribs. Loved everything!
