Hey team, big local supporter of your business and love your food…but tonight was the 3rd time in a row of ordering through your drive through and not getting something I ordered once I was able to check the bag at home. When I’m spending $38 with tip for two people to eat…and pieces of the order are missing, you can see how that is frustrating. Again, the food is top notch, but it really hurts my desire to do business with you again when it would take me 20 minutes to drive back to the restaurant then 20 minutes home just to get the meal made right. It’s just not worth my time and I work hard to make a living. I was going to call the store but I just don’t see how they can do anything at this point. I hate leaving negative reviews. Hoping to see some improvement here. Thanks for understanding.

Had been planning on trying for some time and decided it was now. The pulled pork sandwich was on a fresh, soft bun with a little sauce (you can add more) and pickles. You get 2 sides and a drink with the meal. There is a pretty long list of sides, but of course, I got Mac and cheese, It was creamy and flavorful and, of course, cheesy. I also got 1 of 2 specials of the day, hashbrown casserole. Do not think Cracker Barrel, think someone spent time scraping real potatoes and making from scratch. It was delicious. My only suggestion would be a little more cheese. Bc yum! My date got the same, and he added a banana pudding for research purposes, of course. We both tried it, and it is homemade banana pudding. I didn’t get any banana pieces, but there are nilla wafers in it. It’s more of a cooked banana pudding instead of the fast kind most of us are used to or make. It was so good.
The sauce is tangy sweet and not ketchup heavy at all. It is slightly thin and delicious. I believe I was speaking with the chef, and he did say there is honey in it. I really liked it, and I’m picky for no reason. The sweet tea should be tried, just the right amount of sugar.
I’m going back. I love a good BBQ place, and this one is pretty high on my list now. Service was friendly, genuine, and helpful. She was not at all bothered it took me a minute to decide and answered all my questions. A place can have wonderful food, and customer service can make it or break it. She definitely made it, along with the chef. 10/10 for me. Will return happily.
Oh, and they have indoor and outdoor seating. It’s all level, so it is very easily accessible for those with mobility issues or wheelchairs. The door is easy to open as well.
Want something with flavor? This is it. We both ate for just under $30, not bad considering we have spent more for not that great BBQ.
Oh, the pulled pork? It is tender and delicious. The sauce compliments it really well and brings out the smokey flavor of the meat.

Excellent food! I love this place and have been consistently visiting Moe’s for the past 8 years! The service is consistent and the food is arguably the best BBQ in Trussville and the surrounding area. The menu isn’t extremely crazy, but what is on it is always on the spot. The food often gets ready quick and is always fresh. I have had great memories here, from meals with coworkers at my first job, to having dates here and even some core childhood memories with folks I grew up with, this place has a significant hold in my heart.

Ok, I’m a BBQ buff, and I have to say, their sauce is actually pretty decent. Not to sweet, nor to vinegary.
The fried chicken sandwich is really good, so is the smoked turkey.
Their chips are house made.

The Moe’s location in Trussville is the cat’s pajamas! I tried their pulled pork sandwich, collards with sausage, and fried green tomatoes.
The tomatoes were delightfully crunchy, with excellent gooey tomatoes. An awesome contrast in textures that left me wanting more!!
The collards weren’t super watery, a sin most places commit. Still solid and together, and a great flavor with andouille sausage mixed in.
Don’t get me started on this sandwich! Like with many great BBQ restaurants my nose immediately took in the tantalizing aroma of slow smoked pork and chicken. The sauce had a little kick, and wasn’t super sweet. I’d recommend all smokey meat fans to try their super sandwich selection.
The service is fast casual, with VERY fast service to your table. They had my food down before I could even fill my drink!

Everything from here was excellent…the coleslaw is as described it’s marinated not a mayo based one…the Mississippi mud dessert was excellent and the potato salad is the best for me takeout wise I despise most eat out potato salad but this was actually good. My kids enjoyed the baked beans and mac in cheese. Also they enjoyed the honey mustard that’s why it’s pictured lol. I haven’t had good bbq in a while wecwill be going back to Moe’s and also the turkey was the bomb I liked it way better than Jim n nicks.

Excellent. Had the Small Rib Platter and the ribs were lightly sauced, smokey, and had a great bite mark. The slaw was a light sweet vinegar, and the plate was served with lightly toasted corn bread. Staff was friendly and helpful. Their normal sauce is mildly spicey. Lunch for one = $15.

The wings that I got was more flash fried that night with not much smoke. I’ve been eating at this restaurant for over 10 years so I guess everyone may have a not too good night because on other occasions the wings were a mixture of perfectly seasoned and with a smoked taste.
