First time here! Absolutely love the food. I ordered the pulled pork platter with Mac n cheese and baked beans. Very delicious! I love the cornbread it is sweet with a little heat! Will highly recommend!

I highly recommend Moe’s BBQ. It is local spot with a couple of restaurants in WNC. The food is excellent, from the ribs, to the pull pork, and the BBQ chicken. The sides are also tasty my personal favorites are the mac and cheese and baked beans. The Banana pudding is a great way to emd a meal. It all tastes amazing. The staff is great and it has a great atmosphere.

One of our favorite BBQ places in Asheville. We eat here all the time but I often forget to take photos before we finish our food. Place is usually busy but today I managed to sneak in a few photos before a dozen people entered the restaurant. We had a quick lunch today – smoked Turkey breast sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Usually we will get the delicious sides too. You have to try their hash brown casserole. Everything is so good here – catfish sandwich, ribs… Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor and good parking, A quick drive from downtown and totally worth a visit if you are craving good BBQ.

Can’t really do a review on the food, stood staring at the menu for a bit before asking, where is the sampler platter??? Person at the register just says, I been wishing they would make a sampler platter! Well, us too now. We just left and went to another BBQ place that does have a sampler and does want everyone to try all their meats and enjoy them. This is the first BBQ place we have ever been to that doesn’t have a sampler.

This is one of our local amazing hole in the wall kind of places! The food is always outstanding, doesn’t matter what you choose! Their sides are great, consistently the best around, and always check for the daily specials that will truly be special. Pictured is the smoked chicken, my favorite menu item, and is the best I have found in town! The pulled pork is excellent too! If you’re reading this review, this is “THE” place you need to try!!! Very highly recommend!!

My wife and I were up in the Pisgah National Forest area hiking all day and were traveling back home when she announced she was hungry. I said ok find a place and she did!
We love barbque to begin with so when this restaurant popped up on a Google search we decided to try it! Walking in we thought it was a “find a table, sit down, look over the menu and wait for a server to come take your order – WRONG!
While sitting at our table we noticed other people come inside, go up to the register and order!
NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: put up a sign that says: “ORDER HERE” at the registers!
So we ordered! I got the pulled pork platter and my wife got to smoke chicken platter. For sides I got the baked beans and the mac and cheese, my wife got the baked beans and coleslaw. Both orders came with cornbread.
Let me say when we were talking to the male employee behind the register my wife asked him if we “ordered here” and he said “Yes”. She said okay we thought we were supposed to sit down to have her order taken. This is our first time here and she began laughing. He smiled and said “Well welcome to our restaurant”! When we completed our orders which included drinks (Diet Pepsi – no Coke products, sorry! ) he said “Because you were first time guest, the drinks are on us!” I thought that was very nice!
We sat back down at our table and in a very timely manner our food was brought out to us (See photos!) Everything was delicious! The size portions were appropriate for most part. My wife’s chicken was good – I tried it and she liked my pulled pork. My Mac and cheese was good, my baked beans were great! And let me say that they’re cornbread which is sweet cornbread is out of this world delicious!
The atmosphere of the restaurant was typical Western North Carolina barbecue restaurant atmosphere, very homey and very interesting. The restrooms were clean! And apparently somebody at the restaurant is a fan of “A Christmas Story” (one of my favorite Christmas movies) because there was a life size “leg lamp” near the cash registers!
Out meals and tip ran a little over $35 but remember we got our drinks for free. In today’s inflation field world I guess that’s not too bad for a sit-down meal of good food.
If you’re ever in the area and craving barbecue I do recommend you look up this restaurant and give it a try. We will be back!

First time here, was recommended by a local. You order up front at the counter and pick up when it’s ready. Food was good and was out super quick. Had the ribs which were very good. Also the beans were some of the best we’ve had. Cornbread was also delicious. For other sides had Mac ‘n cheese, Collards greens and potato Salad all were good. But not as good as the ribs-beans-and corn bread. Plenty of off road parking. Wasn’t too busy when we went, but it was early. They seem to do a lot of take out. All of the help were very pleasant. Would return if in the area.
