My wife and I have been to Moes twice before our latest visit. Food and service was good on those visits.
This last visit was not so good.
I ordered the open face chili cheeseburger with onion rings. The dish had to have went through the microwave as the bread was hard. The onion rings were soft and clearly not cooked.
My wife ordered chicken-fried chicken with mashed potatoes cornbread and black-eye peas.
CFC wasnt fresh. Seemed like it was heated from frozen. Black-eye Peas were cold.
Potatoes lukewarm. White gravey was nasty.
Cornbread not edible.
Service was kinda ok. Was never asked how the meal was. Standards from previous visits have evidently changed. How unfortunate.
This restaurant was a good affordable option for the community. Unfortunately we wont return to this place.

This was hands-down, the worst country fried steak I’ve ever had in my life. It was tiny and as thin as a fast food hamburger patty, Very lightly battered in flour and not crispy at all. The corn was weird, It tasted strange, and some of the kernels were burnt. The garlic toast was a piece of plain white bread, buttered, With a couple of bites containing a very light scent of garlic. I will say the okra was good and crispy. The service was too much! I had three people coming up to me The entire time asking me the same questions over and over again. While I was trying to eat, they constantly came over asking me if I needed Anything. When I was done eating and waiting for the check, they were nowhere to be found. I walked up to the register and said I don’t know which one was my server, but one of thise three people has my check. I may give them a second chance and come back for breakfast Because that seems to be the only thing that gets decent , but I will never ever return here for lunch or dinner.

The burger was sad looking . The vegetables were all in a pile in the middle. The menu said it was a 6 ounce patty but it looked more like 4. It did taste decent. The onion rings were completely unseasoned. Put salt and pepper in your breading, Moe’s!. They also were dropped individually so some were stick together with uncooked breading. They were decently crispy on the outside.
The turkey melt was disappointing. Just cold cut square turkey slices with melted cheese.
Personally, I wasn’t impressed enough to go back. There are better places nearby like Blue Mound Cafe.

This was our 4th or 5th visit within the past two weeks. We have experienced several dishes and try something different each visit. Smothered steak, chicken tenders, Reuben, grilled chicken were very good. The onion rings are awesome!! We weren’t quite as impressed with the chicken fried steak however our son-in-law liked it pretty well.
Now, tonight my husband’s green beans were served rather cold that butter (not sure if it is actually butter or whipped margarine) didn’t melt.
Pea salad is really good but serving is very small, especially when purchased as a side paying $2.29…Moe’s, please make serving larger!
The rolls are spot on for a home cooked diner. Coconut cream pie we had last Saturday was really fresh and creamy! However, the banana cream we tried tonight looked appealing butseemed like it had been refrigerated way too long and dried up. Brie, our server was very apologetic and offered a replacement but we opted; to have it removed from the tab.
Everyone of our visits have been greeted with friendly smiling faces and polite courteous service.
I will say they must have had a rush shortly before we arrived Monday for a late lunch as most of the tables needed to be wiped down.
Wish the sides had more options to choose from. Need to add Mac n cheese, squash (not fried) maybe some greens and cornbread too!
Overall, we like this little local diner and will be back. Next, we’re trying breakfast!

First time ordering-placed pick up order. No silverware, ordered salad and no dressing -ordered fried pork chops and okra they gave me pinto beans instead, I ordered separate side of pinto beans that was supposed to come with cornbread-no cornbread. I called just to tell them whoever packed order missed some stuff and lady had attitude about it. Check your order before leaving for accuracy.

I was visiting the area and just have to share my experience! Watching the tall blonde who I assume was the manager or owner deliverer coffee to every table and run everyone’s food while checking in with every customer just blew my mind but to watch her tables be taken did not seem fair. Gentleman said he would be right with us and didn’t come back for 10 minutes. She came over to refill our coffee asked if we had ordered yet we had not.. she took our order and had all the food out within 10 minutes. We appreciated how she didn’t let any of the negativity or greediness change her pace or kindness towards my family or the other customers!

We have been to Moe’s a handful of times the food has been wonderful but the services from Amanda is always excellent! We love and appreciate how warm and welcoming she is! We will be back to enjoy the yummy food and her superior service! We are so happy she’s finally back!!! She truly makes us want to come back for more!

Both of food and the services really good… That’s coming from a person who does breakfast at cafes at least three times a week. Wish they were open a little later than 8:00 but understandable. In the atmosphere is typical…. it’s a cafe. One of my favorites!
