Really, really, really disappointed with my recent experience at Moe’s. Normally their bagels are great and I would so much rather pay the money there than some huge chain like Panera. However, spending 30 bucks on two bagels and a drink and getting what I did is enough to convince me to not go back. Firstly, the service was horrible. I ordered online pickup and waited for 15 minutes next to the counter for my order because they had it behind the counter and refused to acknowledge me. I tried to be respectful because they were busy and in the weeds but after waiting for so long and seeing four of the workers all huddled around the ovens, I had to flag them down just so I could go. Second, they gave the wrong chips. Not a big deal but after waiting so long, it was annoying. Third, and most importantly, the Rueben I ordered was disgraceful and laughable. Compared to what they advertise it as on their website (and what I paid for) what I got was just sad.
If I wanted overpriced, low quality bagels I’d just go to Panera guys..

MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR FOOD!! Ordered a bagel with Salmon on it and they gave me a bagel with egg instead with onions and tomatoes and jalapeños! Paid $15 for an egg bagel with cream cheese, not sure how you mess it up that bad. Ironically the gentleman in front of me in line was getting on them for messing up his bagel multiple times. If they make it up I’ll delete my review!

I’ll start with the compliment, because there is one: if you’re looking for a plain, no-frills bagel, this place will get the job done. A basic bagel? Fine. Mission accomplished.
However, the moment you ask for anything beyond that—especially a breakfast sandwich—you’ve wandered into dangerous territory. Adding cheese became a group discussion. We were asked multiple times whether we wanted bacon or just eggs, as if this were a philosophical question rather than a standard breakfast order.
The real dealbreaker, though, is this: you are a breakfast spot that cannot make egg whites. Let that sink in. One of the simplest, most common breakfast requests… unavailable.
To top it off, the breakfast sandwich we did receive was wrong, and the bagels that were supposed to be sliced and toasted somehow managed to be neither. It’s a simple operation, folks.
Bottom line: good for a plain bagel if expectations are kept low. For breakfast sandwiches or anything involving customization, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Amazing food, always loved this place. I noticed today that there was no tip option when I was checking out. The staff is so nice so I asked why, they said, “oh we don’t do tips, everyone just got a raise instead” How awesome is that?!

Always loved Moe’s living in Boulder for 10+ years so when I moved to Louisville 4 years ago I was excited to find another location. After several times leaving only to notice my order was wrong and one terrible experience with a cashier I have stopped going. I sent an email to this location about that experience but never received a response. The bagel sandwiches would be 4-5 stars (if your order is made correctly) but overall wouldn’t recommend this location anymore. I would still go to the Boulder location, though!

I need to stop giving this places chances. I go once every couple months and think it’ll be different, but it rarely is. Somehow the bagels are consistently hard and stale, they skimp on the egg and cream cheese making for a thin sandwich, and when they reheat the bagel they often burn it a bit….all this for the small price of $11.48 not including tip.

I’ve never written a bad review before but one of the staff members made me feel so uncomfortable and was rude. I placed a pick up order through Uber Eats. I was charged and even got a text message that my order was ready. After waiting, I tell a staff member I have a pick up order. She’s not seeing it so she asks another staff member. This other lady comes up to me and says the order was cancelled. I asked why and she said she didn’t know. I asked if I could still get my order and she flat out said NO. I was so confused and stunned by her direct response and no other solution that I didn’t even have the ability to show her I was charged and notified that my order was ready. I just simply left because there was no silution offered or apology. It was such an odd experience.

Love Moe’s! We typically go to the Boulder location over by the Whole Foods, but this one is a just a little closer for me on a busy weekday. I always get a sesame bagel with their wonderful veggie cream cheese.

Bagels is a decent spot for bagel enthusiasts, offering a variety of tasty options. The selection is good, and the bagels themselves are enjoyable. However, my experience with the dining space leaves much to be desired. The outdoor seating is set up in the parking lot, which isn’t the most appealing environment for enjoying a meal. Meanwhile, the indoor seating lacks coziness and is rather noisy, giving off an impersonal vibe.
I would recommend opting for takeout instead of dining in. Taking the bagels to go allows you to savor them in a more comfortable setting, and it’s likely to enhance your overall experience. The quality of the bagels is definitely the highlight here, but the dining atmosphere could use improvement for a more enjoyable experience.
