This small, charming breakfast spot delivers an elegant, high-end vibe with delicious food and generous portions. A standout was the tri-tip corned beef hash, which featured perfectly blended potatoes. While the ono fish was slightly dry/frozen, the fried rice was excellent, and the strawberry Nutella crepe was beautifully presented. Highly recommended for a high-end, cozy breakfast experience.

First of all, this place is a vibe! Come here for a casual business meeting, catch up on remote work, celebrate someone special, or go on a day date with your son (I chose the latter). We live in the neighborhood and this was our first time in and 9.7/10. The .3 deduction is only because we were right by the restroom (but so was the cozy heater). Even a heavy curtain to separate the spaces would go a long way…eye contact with people as they leave the restroom and I’m eating just doesn’t feel appropriate. Haha.
That aside, the food was dang delicious. Everything came out the perfect temperature, everything was properly seasoned, and the cold brew is among the best in the area.
Cost to go out and eat isn’t a cheap experience anywhere anymore and if I’m going to do it, I want to feel like it was worth leaving the house for…for us, we would walk here in a blizzard uphill before we order some random place on DoorDash. It was that good! Haha
Additionally, the service was excellent. Brynn was our server and was attentive without circling our table. She seemed to genuinely enjoy taking care of us and in providing “unreasonable hospitality” (IYKYK) and while the food was delicious enough to return, Brynn would be the reason we become regulars.
One final note, the owner/manager was also thoughtful enough to check in, which I felt was a special touch that goes a long way in a service based business, and you could tell he prioritizes that.

We stopped by Moena Café in Daybreak and had a really nice experience overall. I ordered the açaí bowl, and the fruit was super fresh especially the blueberries. I asked to add a little shredded coconut (saw it on the menu for another dish) and that turned out to be a great call. The portion was generous too. The only thing that would have made it better is if the açaí had been blended; it was still quite firm and frozen in the bowl.
My family tried the veggie omelette, fish and egg plate, and salmon sandwich. They all said their food was good but could use a bit more seasoning.
The real standout for me was my London Fog. We’ll definitely come back to try a few more dishes.

Been wanting to try this cafe out ever since it’s opened. Finally visited on a Monday @10am. Perfect time if you don’t want to wait too long to get seated. Cute atmosphere, good amount of menu choices, and the staff is sweet. Both my friend and I ordered the steak and eggs. Soooo tasty! So sad it’s being taken off the menu soon. We also ordered a pumpkin specialty pancake! Massive! Yet sooo yummy! I also got an iced pumpkin chai tea latte with almond milk. Delicious! I feel bad, I can’t remember our servers name but she was so patient with my friend and even after we asked so many questions about the menu. (She had perfect eyebrows)

We have been excited to visit Moena Café since it opened. Finally made it in for a Saturday brunch, we were greeted with a cozy, island-casual vibe. Our server Zeinab was warm and friendly without making us feel rushed. Their plates are generous, the flavors are fresh, we had the banana pancakes and loco moco. A great spot for a relaxed brunch with just the right touch of Hawaiian flair.

Friends and I went to have breakfast there 11/15 and it was not what I expected it to be. The atmosphere was neutral and calm. The place is a nice and modern. The service was slow. There was only 2 tables us included and it took forever for our food to come out. When more people came in it was almost as if our server forgot about us. The food had no flavoring. I had the Hawaiian sausage omelette and they forgot to add the onions as it was just eggs cheese and sausage. It had no flavoring. My friend ordered their banana chantilly and that had flavoring but not enough sauce. The POG juice was not the POG juice they have in Hawaii as it tasted like watered down POG. It tasted as if someone had ordered it and it had ice and it was sitting there waiting for someone to order it (it just happened I was the next person to order it) so it doesn’t go to waste. I’m sad it wasn’t a great experience as I love Hawaiian food.

The “atmosphere” in no way makes up for the poor service and underwhelming food. I ordered the Crab Benedict and when it came out, the eggs were undercooked. The crab was super smelly and not remotely fresh which is strange for how much they boast their flown in fish. When I begrudgingly requested a new plate, I was brought more undercooked poached eggs. The waitress gave no care to ask if the replacement dish had improved, which has never happened before. It was extremely obvious that the food was not any better as I had to shove runny eggs off to the side again. It took longer than usual to take our order, bring our food, clear the table and bring boxes. Overall a very unpleasant experience. I will not be going back. I never leave less than 25% tip when dining so that was another first.

My kids and I had a delightful breakfast at this place. The wait was minimal, and our food arrived promptly. Our waitress, Rain, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate our two young children. I ordered the pancakes, which were absolutely delicious and worth every bite. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast experience. We will be back to try lunch or dinner.

This place was absolutely delicious. I had the Lilikoi Mochi Pancake and it was wonderful. Ginormous, crispy on the edges, and fluffy everywhere else. My only recommendation would be to get butter or a liquid syrup in addition – to complement the tender pancake. I’m very excited to come back to try other menu items.
The wait staff was so attentive, considerate, helpful, and friendly.
