We visited after hearing great things about the daechang platter jajangmyeon, and it did not disappoint!
The flavor was perfectly sweet and slightly spicy — very satisfying and well-balanced.
We tried the beef brisket jjamppong this time, but we’re already planning to come back for the gopchang jjamppong.
Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. Highly recommend their new dishes!

I visited this place with my family today. The comfortable and cozy atmosphere that the servers and this place bring friendliness well. We ordered Jjampong, Mala Jjampong and Guo Bao Rou. The prices were so reasonable for portion sizes and also the taste of them. We definitely come back!

I went on new years day around 1pm. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They were very kind to provide me a bib and hair tie. Food was great too. I can confidently say that food here is almost as good as the ones in Korea. I will definitely come back again.

This is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Chinese-style Korean food. They’ve completely mastered the classics: the black bean noodles (Jajangmyeon) are rich and savory, and the sweet and sour fried pork (Tangsuyuk) is perfectly crispy and delicious. Best of all, the kitchen is lightning fast–the food comes out incredibly fast and fresh, making it the ideal spot for a quick, high-quality, and deeply satisfying meal.

Delicious Korean-Chinese food! The 짜장 was rich and flavorful, and the 짬뽕 had great spice and lots of seafood. Portions were generous and everything came out hot and fresh. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving Korean-Chinese comfort food!

Clean restaurant in an American strip mall with plenty of parking. Staff is friendly and mostly young and actually speak English. Very busy on a Saturday lunch with almost all Korean customers.
They also do pretty good takeout business where the containers are solid.
The food tastes clean and fresh. The 짬뽕 (seafood noodles) was good. The spicy shrimp dish wasn’t anything special. We need to try other dishes, but think sticking to the main noodle dishes is a good approach.
Went back and the other dishes are great!!!
Highly recommend the Friends Combo 1 – a classic!

Lovely employees! It’s a very busy place with tight seating. Make sure you understand the menu, there is a lot of pork, seafood and spice. Will eat there again!

Great food, super-friendly staff!
On lunch whilst at work, ordered the most modest item on the menu (pork + noodles). Food came with a pair of kitchen shears, since the noodles are so long! My waiter noticed my “struggle” with the noodles, and quickly came over to show me that I needed to mix everything (in my bowl) together, and to cut the excess noodle lengths before eating them. Fun!
Great flavors – sauces, marinades and the fresh peppers on top.
It closes for an hour each day between lunch and dinner, however, so I’d double-check the hours before visiting.

Visited again for their new menu and it did not disappoint. They easily have the best Jajang and Jjamppong in all of Seattle. Will return for the other new menu soon!!! The atmosphere is nice and cozy too.

We stopped by Modoo Banjeom on a whim, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. The food was just okay, nothing stood out in flavor or quality; overall, it felt below average compared to other Korean spots we’ve tried.
It’s not a place we’d return to, but it might work if you’re just looking for something quick and convenient.
