The space is also really nice and is a good option if you were having a larger group or wanted to do a celebratory meal.
The staff is friendly and attentive.
The food is solid and the price is reasonable for what you are getting. They brought over bread to start and the bread was nice and warm. We started with the burrata app which weirdly came with 3 pieces of medium bread (same as the basket, but toasted or grilled). It felt like it should have been smaller crostini type bread and also more pieces given the app, but it didn’t matter because we had the warm bread basket. The app itself was nice, but not overly special.
For dinner we had the burger and the squid ink pasta with salmon. The burger was good, but the sweet potato fries needed any kind of seasoning, even salt. The pasta was the best dish of the night. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the sauce was delicious and the pasta was great.
Overall, I would definitely come back here again. It’s a nice spot with reasonable prices, great ambiance and service, and the food is solid.
The food was fantastic, and surprisingly large portions. Kootoos to the chef and kitchen staff.
Service was good, and so were the drinks.
Modern on the Rails in Mamaroneck delivers, but what’s good here? It’s the Hatfield Reserve Pork Chop. Full stop.
Thick-cut and seared to perfection. Juicy like it’s got something to prove. Smothered in a bold, rich sauce with just the right heat—hot, sweet, or mixed (go mixed!). The sausage adds depth, the peppers and onions bring the fire, and the mushrooms and potatoes round it all out like a Sunday meal at Nonna’s, only sharper and bolder!
It’s not just dinner—it’s an experience. Money well spent, and then some. Come hungry. Leave talking about it for days.
What’s good here? The Hatfield Reserve Pork Chop, no question. -WGH
However the food was good but not many options. I thought there would be an omelet station or meat station or even a toaster to toast the bagels but didn’t have any of that.
The bagels were very small, only 1 pasta option, no crackers for cheese and the pizza they had was good but only had meat on the pizza each time.
Homefries potatoes were yummy but I expected more options.
They do have an upgrade for unlimited mimosas and other brunch drinks.
Maybe I’ll try it again for dinner since it seems to have better reviews for that
The food was extremely well prepared and presented. The wait staff could not do enough to serve you, and were extremely attentive..
All of our relatives and friends in attendance raved about what an exceptional wedding venue it was, and a wonderful time was had by all. We are so grateful to the manager, Lori for her hard work and dedication..
Yes, it was our family’s wedding, but it really was a wedding to remember.
