We enjoyed our dinner, the staff were friendly and atmosphere was comfortable. The food was tasty, side portions could’ve been a little bigger (mashed potatoes and asparagus). I highly recommend the steaks and carrots. The steaks were seasoned well, although cooked a bit under requests (medium and medium well). The margaritas with Gran Marnier were perfect and priced well! We can’t wait to return.

Tips: They have a kids menu that isn’t posted. There is a private dining room too.

We visited Modern Chop Inc to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a reservation. While the place is beautiful and the drinks were good, the service was disappointing. It took over 20 minutes just to be attended, and another 15 for our drinks. We ordered the tomahawk and seafood paella — the paella took more than an hour and arrived with undercooked rice. We also asked for a birthday dessert with a candle, and the server initially said they didn’t have one, only to bring it much later. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but service is key, especially on special occasions. I hope they take this feedback seriously.

Beautiful interior. Nice restaurant but doesn’t feel too pretentious. Maine Lobster night, saffron risotta, and broccoli. Ribeye was perfectly cooked and delicious.

Paid $120 for what felt like a $50 dinner.

Atmosphere is nice but immediately felt like they were trying too hard to be a high end restaurant, the good ones don’t need to do that. It’s like they’re trying to justify the high price tag for their food with their atmosphere.

You can get better French bread at Walmart, strange choice of cinnamon butter with it that didn’t mesh well.

French onion soup was poor.

The filet was cooked well instead of medium, tasted ok but didn’t taste like super fresh beef like you’d expect for a $60 steak. Sides were good, salad was good.

Like I said, if we paid $50-60 for the meal I think we’d be ok with it. It’s just not worth the price at all.

Pictured is my medium filet, it looks like a rare hamburger that was cut up and glued together. Our server (Greg W.) took forever (an hour and a half for food), the steak was disgusting, and we had to waive down our waiter to get water refills. I rarely complain about restaurants but this was a terrible experience.

This was our first visit and we were disappointed. The Hostess and Manager barely acknowledged us (in/and leaving) and could not locate our reservation. It seemed that their attention was focused on other customers, as the place was very crowded. The interior is fairly nice and feels somewhat upscale. We had a couple setbacks during the meal. My wifes Steak was done and served perfectly but her veggies were not hot. My dish (Chicken & Prosciutto) came out cold. I mentioned it to the server when asked how everything was and got an astonished look and no reply. I also had the Beet Salad as an appetizer and it was excellent. Taco Tuesday (at an upscale restaurant?) caused very long delays getting our drinks! The meal was average at best, considering the cost. Even though this restaurant is close to us, we will stick with our other favorites.

Busy place for Happy Hour. The service was pretty good. The server was polite and professional. I would like for her to have been a little more attentive. I thought our food came out somewhat wrong but we were actually given someone else’s order by the food runner. The steak taco was a little dry and a little tough. The shrimp taco was crispy. The carnitas taco was a bit messy. The margaritas were tart and refreshing. Each of the margaritas and food items that we had were only $3 on this Taco Tuesday. The bar area was pretty packed. I’d recommend coming early to assure you can get a seat.

First time coming here and will be the last . The bartender with all the tattoos was horrible and rude . Nobody looks happy here and made me feel like I was bothering them. Steak and lobster was ok . The lobster was super small. It was not worth the money .

This place is fantastic!

If you enjoy cocktails and apps at the bar, this venue offers tons of bar seating opportunities. If you prefer to dine in, there is ample indoor and outdoor seating available.

We ordered the modern punch and the rasberry lemon drop martini. Can I say these were some of the best drinks we’ve been made. From the fresh garnish to the complimentary flavors of the spirits with juices…. these beverages were absolutely divine. We’ve paid more for less when it comes to drinks at other places, but these drinks were priced for the quality.

We ordered the beef tip apps, which ….were perfectly flavorful. My only complaint was that the bread it was served on was too overdone/crispy. It worked out for me since I shouldn’t be indulging in carbs as much as I do . There were so many other items on both the food and drink menu that sound scrumptious, and we will be back to try them.

The restaurant is clean, decorated very lavishly, and the bartending staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

2nd & last visit. I really wanted to like this place, the ambiance is lovely and the menu reads well but everything else fell short. Since I was solo I sat at the bar and ordered. The service was terrible, took at least 15 mins to be acknowledged and another 15 to get a drink (2 bartenders & 5 of us seated). Ordered a filet Oscar style, took over an hour for mine and the person next to me to receive our food. When I did receive it the steak was cooked perfectly & tasted ok but I was told the kitchen ran out of crab so they made a semi burned crab cake that consisted of 99% breading and corn &1% crab to top the steak instead of lump crab. Had I been notified I would’ve changed my order. The risotto definitely needed to be cooked longer but the asparagus & béarnaise were decent. I took a few bites & brought the rest home hoping someone else would enjoy it. Had the creme Bru lê for dessert and it was bland. Overall not worth over $80.
