I often order a western omelette in many different places. This was the best one I have eaten in my 60 plus years of eating westerns. The veggies were perfect, crisp but not hard to chew. The ham was nice chunks not too big. I will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend trying the food here. First time here, Whats the chance of only their western omelette is delicious?

This one is Fair Lawns best bagel and sandwich shop. If you not sure what to get, get the everything bagel with Taylor ham, egg and cheese with ketchup, salt and pepper. They make the best one!!!.

i’ve been coming to this place for couple of years at this point and had no complaints or issues as such, but today’s visit brought absolute disappointment
i worked myself in multiple restaurants/ cafes and i understand how stressful this job is, but it cannot jeopardize some things
i came today to get the bagel and this lady took my order. i see her start making it, then putting it on the plate, then just leaves it sitting there and she just randomly takes out brick of cheese and start slicing it. i already thought that it is a very strange order of action.
but then she finally came to give me bagel, with her bare hands she starts touching register and then proceeds to pull out napkins from under the counter and putting it ON TOP of my food. it’s basic food handling safety and common sense would tell you why it is wrong to do it. on my question why she’s doing it she just started giving me attitude and questions like “what do you want”
i just left with the bagel but came back to at least take few on the side how it should be. all this time i’m talking very calmly with her, but she just started rolling her eyes and saying “oh my god”
don’t even let me start on her putting me less ham than they regularly do
i’m not even that picky with food but let’s just use common sense and if she doesn’t have her servsafe certificate it’s time to get it.
and id not even leave this comment if she’d not be so rude.

Honestly, the bagel didnt taste bad. I had garlic with Taylor ham and cheese. I would just expect that even the bagel will be toasted, but it wasn’t. The bagel was kind of small for the price they charge. For two garlic TH&C, muffin, chip and ice tea paid 24$ it’s kinda expensive. We ate inside and was given paper plates the interior is ok. Not bad place or food, but you can get better.

Bae told me this was one of his favorite local breakfast spots. I’m all about a bangin breakfast sandwich so I was all in. Right off the jump, all of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was made fresh and fast to! I’m from Pennsylvania but honestly NJ takes the cake for best breakfast spots. It just hits different.
We both got a pork roll egg cheese SPK on an everything bagel. Honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches iv ever had. I can not wait to go back to this spot…ill become a familiar face in no time. I plan on stopping back tomorrow to take some delightful bagels back home to pa with me.

This place all depends on who you get making your food. I’ve been coming here consistently for the last 3 years and I’ve had amazing sandwiches, and not so great ones. If you’re looking for a place to give you the “ice cream scoop” of cream cheese , this is not the place. PROS: If you get one of the workers that has been there for a while you’re gonna get a great sandwich. They listen, they’re quick and they want to move the line as fast as possible. The bagels are hot and fresh. It does not matter how long or insane your order is, they’re on it. You’re not going to be there long, and you will never hear them making fun or talking smack about anybody. You’re gonna be in and out with a nice hot fresh meal. CONS: If you get a staff member that is seasonal/ part time / just doesn’t want to be there… you’re going to say you’re entire order and then they will say “oh let me write it down” go to the back , rummage for pen and paper, slowly make you repeat your whole order while they write it down then take their time making it while talking about previous customers as the line builds out the door. My spouse placed an order over the phone, was told it will be 15 min . He came and waited with nobody addressing him so he just stood there, waiting. The staff member with the glasses and long brown pony tail then proceeded to speak about him saying “ where is this a-hole” I suppose because she wanted to go home, and he was standing… right there. He mentioned this to the owner who basically said “ he didn’t hear it” so needless to say , my hub will not ever go here again. So knocking a few stars off for inconsistency with service. Overall, modern bagel is “okay” . It gets the job done and it’s in a great location so it’s very busy almost always. However, there are def better bagel spots in the area.

They sell random 6 bagels in toogoodtogo for 4.99 with 66% off original pricing right before closing, is what they told me. So, according to them, 6 bagels are 15 dollars originally. I had to check their website and it seems that they are not an honest business.
