I love this place. We are visiting Hood Canal for New Year’s, and we decided to come here for dinner. This is the kind of small town pub/diner that you would want. Its even better when there is a game going. Very good food, filled me up. Would recommend

Outstanding broasted chicken which rivals Seattle staples for the same. Crispy and juicy chicken pieces you can only get from this technique. A great place for lunch, but make sure call ahead or you have time for the chicken fryer to pressure deep fry your meat and potatoes. By the way, the Jo-joes are dredged and fried with the chicken to perfect seasoning and texture of crisp outside and fluffy insides. This place is famous for their chicken and you should try them! (In my picture I took a bite of drummie to taste but can confirm the breast meat was super juicy and tender as only a broasted breast cane be)

Small but great atmosphere and service was great. Had their almost iconic chicken & Joe’s and wasn’t disappointed! I will be back even if it’s 2 hours away. Wife had the fish & chips and was also very pleased and the drinks were on point.

Great service. Both the cook and waitress were super kind and helpful. Loved the panko oysters and the vod was good too. A pretty standard hole in the wall seaside pub, but worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Made a pit stop for a late lunch on our way though. I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and my parents had the cheese burger. It was all VERY good. *Also, the bathroom was clean, which is always a plus!

Food was spot on, had oysters, chicken, cod, fries, Jo’s, and slaw. Both cooks stopped by to check on the food, waitress AND chefs were personable and attentive:) will definitely be back! Thanks for the great food and service!

Worst place you’ll ever stop at. The bar tender was extremely rude to me and my family. Upon entering the establishment, that was very crowded, it was unclear if you sat yourself or waited to be seated. I made my way to the open table and was aggressively screamed at from across the bar about no minors where the open table was and to leave, come back later. Very rude, unkind, unwelcoming while the patrons then started heckling our family. The whole situation could have been handled entirely differently and with less hostility. Needless to say we will never return.

The food and the “kitchen service” however…
We ordered the Model T Carnivore pizza. The first one we received about 45 minutes after we ordered, it was burnt. The server even told us she thought it was definitely burnt. The cook, who happens to be the owner, didn’t think so.
Now, if you’ve been in the Model T, you know how small it is and how you can hear everything.
When we asked for a different pizza (which took another 25 minutes), the “owner” told the server, “ok, I’ll just undercook the next one.” And yes, it was undercooked. But we were hungry.

Packed food from here for dinner. I placed an order for pepperoni pizza but received a cheese pizza. The server told me they ran out of pepperoni so decided to give me cheese pizza instead without confirming with me. This seemed a bit off and frankly if I knew there was no pepperoni I would have ordered something else. The pizza was not good. My wife took the chicken burger which was much better. I would have also taken the same had I known the pizza situation. . The place looked pretty nice but my experience was not that great due to the order conundrum. Any how, this was the only place open till late on our way back from Olympic national park so I was thankful to get some food though. Else I would have rated 1 star.
