For almost 90 years The Model Bakery has been a Napa Valley mainstay, offering the best breads, pastries and coffee. Model Bakery is most famously known for their English Muffins which have been featured on Oprah’s Favorite Things List three years in a row! It all began at the flagship Main Street location in St. Helena, then branched out to the Oxbow Public Market in Napa and is now operating in the newly opened Mini Model in Yountville.

Stopped in on a Monday around 2pm and was helped right away. The space was light and welcoming, and the baristas were very nice. One of them even gave my kid a free large cookie, which was a really kind gesture.
We ordered an Americano and an espresso. Both were good, and the espresso was especially well balanced, not bitter or dry. If you enjoy drinking espresso on its own, this place won’t disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

I have been to Walnut Creek location. This place is more likely grab and go and the menus are different from Walnut Creek.
They also sell prior night pastries for $3. Which is bargain and still good.
Staffs are nice and easy to park. Their pastries are really good and coffee is below average.

I made the trip from Stockton to visit Model Bakery last weekend, and it was absolutely worth it. The place is always spotless, the staff is helpful, and all of their food products are consistently amazing. We got there early before the crowd, so there was no line at all.
We especially go for their English muffins during the holidays — they’re the best! I always pre-order since I usually need a larger quantity, and everything is ready and perfect when I arrive.

Best spot for breakfast in Napa. There’s usually a line, but it’s absolutely worth it and it moves fast. Don’t let the wait scare you off. Grab a seat on the outside tables and enjoy the weather.
The breakfast sandwiches and pastries are the real stars here. I highly recommend sampling a few different pastries if you can. Everything is fresh, well made, and consistently excellent. The English muffins, scones, and bear claws are all favorites and must-orders.
Coffee is also excellent, which makes this an easy one-stop breakfast spot. Service is friendly and efficient, and there’s plenty of parking nearby, which helps when it’s busy.
If you’re in Napa, Model Bakery is a must. Great food, fast-moving line, and worth every minute of the wait.

The famous English muffin was the best!!! This English muffin is unlike the package one you can purchased at a grocery store. I heard about this delicious muffin from some strangers who absolutely adore the place. The entire staff were pleasant and made the experience pleasurable. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather eating on picnic tables that were cleaned and maintained. I just saw that there is now a location located in Walnut Creek . Try a slice of pizza which is just yummy to the tummy

We love the Model Bakery. So much so that we dine there frequently. And given I work in Napa I consider myself lucky. As a Pizza lover I regularly get their Pizza when I can. Don’t arrive too late in the afternoon or you run the risk the Pizza is sold out. My wife also loves their English Muffins and I pick some up every time I visit. Delicious!

Best English muffins you ever had. Great variety of artisanal breads, scrumptious pastries. Good coffee and fresh breakfast sandwiches. Fast, friendly and professional service, there is always a line out of the door , but it moves fast. Plenty of outdoor seating. It is very popular for a reason. This truly is a model bakery, do not miss!

The model bakery is lauded by Oprah for the English muffins. She’s not wrong. The original breakfast is simple and so satisfying. Scrambled eggs ham and cheese on a perfect muffin bun. We also had the mushroom lovers which was so umami and flavourable.
