Excellent French inspired foods. A little pricey, but freshly made and hand crafted dishes and cocktails.

This is on the south side of the Regency shopping court, easy access from the door. Reservation at dinner times are suggested as it fills quickly.

Of the dishes we tried on three separate visits there was not a loser in the group. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor.

They have an extensive bar with mixologists who know the craft well.

If you are a soda pop drinker you are going to get a can of Coke products (I am a fountain poop man myself, so not a supporter of that direction).

Decor is modern, but not in-your-face-stylish.

One of the best cocktails I’ve had in Omaha. I had one and my day was set. One and done is an understatement. The bartender was super friendly. The restaurant is beautiful. I didn’t get a chance to eat any of the food, but the menu looked amazing. The only downside is that the restaurant is in kind of a weird location.

We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night, dressed in casual attire. We were warmly welcomed, served promptly and found the food, drinks and service were all excellent! The scallops were divine, as was whatever my husband ordered (honestly, I’m still fixated on the scallops!) The cocktails were yummy (we tried 4 different ones) as were the desserts. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area, very high ceilings, a welcoming atmosphere whether you are with a large or small group, or even by yourself and a variety of seating options for even the most finicky!

We just stumbled upon this place and I am so glad we did. This is my new brunch place. I had the best burger I have had in Omaha. My husband had an amazing creole crepe and my son had a delicious caramelized waffle. Probably the best waffle I have ever had. The drinks we had were so refreshing. I have been to Paris and this place is on par with the food there.

This was my fourth time dining at Mode de Vie. Every visit has been amazing. The food and atmosphere are great. It is easy to have conversation since it is quiet. The wait staff have been very friendly and efficient. It has become one of my favorite places for brunch/lunch.

I was really excited to try this place, but the service really let me down. I sat at the bar on a Friday evening, while they were full, but folks were finishing up. The cocktails were good, but were tossed in front of us more than they were served; for one in particular I wanted to ask about the wine float, but the bartender was gone without eye contact before I could open my mouth. The food that I ate was decent. When the entrees arrived, we were warned about how hot the clay pot was, but nothing was said about the galette I ordered, however the first bite was the hottest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth and burned my tongue and the roof of my mouth so badly that I did not eat anything else that night and could feel it for days after. The food does not justify the price and the service actively opposes it.

I really wanted to like this place. Our server was clueless about the menu and the food had ZERO flavor. I ordered the steak and frites and literally couldn’t eat it because it was so chewy. My husband ordered the chicken and it was just as bad. The only good thing about this place is the wine menu. I should have just taken $200+ and thrown it out the window.

Mode de Vie is an excellent restaurant. We sat in their beautiful outdoor seating in the gorgeous summer evening, and the service, food and drinks were on point. We ordered the duck two ways, the croque madame, cajun bastille, and three drinks, all of which were fantastic. Although pricey, you get what you pay for – absolute perfection. If you don’t mind the price point, Mode de Vie is the place to be for an elegant dinner.

One of my all time best meals! This was my first experience at Mode de Vie and I was beyond impressed. My waitress Sidney was amazing. She helped me makes decisions about the menu. She knew what was in each dish and described it perfectly. One of the best servers I’ve come across. Way to go Sidney! Justin also helped me figure out a custom drink that was delicious. Taylor the general manager also stopped by my table and we had a great chat as well. The staff made this experience memorable.
I ordered the Jerk shrimp spring rolls with plum sauce. They were light and tasty. I ordered the lamb chops with artichoke, niçoise olive, pickled onion, compte & coppa risotto androsemary balsamic syrup. The risotto was the best risotto I have ever had. It was rich and full of flavor. The artichokes were such a great compliment to the amazing lamb chops. It was also a nice hearty portion which I enjoy. I ended my meal with coffee and the blueberry cobbler with lemon curd and ice cream, it was beautiful in appearance and taste.
I cannot recommend this lovely gem enough. It’s a must eat!

Foie Gras in one of the apps, Dom by the glass, French inspired (not directly French) food. Excellent. service was great – I can’t find anything to knock. They are higher priced than a casual restaurant, but that’s why they’re in Regency.
