Have been to Mod too many times to count. The food is always high quality and I love being able to customise for the same price. The service over the last couple years has slipped with patience being less and staff that don’t feel like they want to be there (it’s not one person, it’s the general feeling every time I go). Definitely something that needs looked into. It’s never as busy as it used to be, so I suspect it’s part of a larger problem. That said, it’s one of my favourite places to get pizza and for someone that is allergic to pork it still allows me to really make a delicious pizza instead of the generic veggie option at most places.

It’s just a solid thin-crust pizza that you have plenty of options to customize done up in a giant pizza oven while you wait, the food is always fresh and hot. Their lemonade is delicious, it is a highlight as it is extra strong. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating is available if the weather is right. Parking can be a challenge on busy days, but it is worth the trip, and of course, they offer online ordering, take out, etc.

This is the best Mod Pizza location I have tried thus far. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my requests. I ordered two pizzas and both were amazing. I highly recommend using their spicy pizza sauce if you enjoy spicy foods. This was a great experience.

Friendly location. Hard to beat the prices and I love all the topping options. It’s nice to be able to get exactly what you want, except when you don’t. They’re a little inconsistent. Topping amounts vary quite a bit. I like ordering pick up but they don’t seem to care as much about what they’re doing when you’re not there watching them do it.
Basically, its a great place to go and eat. You probably don’t want to do pick up or delivery though, it just wont be the same quality.

You can’t. It’s beautiful, the sheer variety of toppings they have is incredible, and you’d be amazed the combinations you can pull off.
In addition, if you remember the original Hostess Ding Dongs, wrapped in foil? Well the No Name Cakes here feel closer to the Ding Dongs I remember from my childhood than official ones now. Stellar service every visit, you should eat here!

A good typical MOD pizza. We did wait about 15 minutes in line during lunch hour. But staff were very nice and apologized for the wait. Pizza and salad were well built. Dining room was adequate. Outside dining was available too.

Clean, yummy, cheap, create-your-own thin crust pizza baked in a monstrous pizza oven in about five minutes. Grab a little 5″ for the kids and split an 11″ with your spouse. They even have a few beers on tap. It’s a chain and this one was WAY more generous with toppings than the last one I visited in Vancouver. The garage door (which all the MODs have), was open today because the sun was shining. It was an exquisite lunch experience for about $20.

I ordered a pizza and when it arrived it was terrible, missing items. I ordered extra cheese and the pizza came with nothing, all the items thrown in, the cheese was almost zero. I tried to inform them that it was wrong and the person who helped me just said: “it’s the way we do it here”. I’ve always had exemplary service in other units, but Alderwood was terrible.
