I actually drove by many MOD pizza locations many times but didn’t care much about it because I am not a big fan of pizza. We finally came here last weekend for the first time. It was pretty crowded when we walked in. The entire wait time was about 30 minutes including duration of time in the queue and baking time. The restaurant has nice eating area and spacious. Service was very friendly. Basically you can build your own pizza or salad with any toppings for one price. It’s pretty awesome that they also have GF and cauliflower crust, and non dairy cheese which is perfect for anyone with dairy free diet. We wanted to try everything so I ordered the mega dough (11” double thick crust), cauliflower and GF crust. I personally think it was okay. It’s only worth it if you like a lot of different toppings on your pizza.

First time visiting this location and it wasn’t nearly as well made as my previous visits to the St. Charles location. Today at lunch the young man making my pizza wasn’t up to par at making the pizza. He used way too much Alfredo and tried to add things a different way than I had asked. My wife had asked for extra cheese on hers and he barely added any after being asked twice. He wasn’t listening to our requests on how we wanted made and acted like he didn’t care how we had requested it. He was moved over to the cashier spot shortly afterwards due to him continuing his lack of listening to guest after us.

Great pizza. The soda fountain is self-serve and has plain soda-water available. The jalapeños have some heat on the back end. There are so many great toppings available. This location has ricotta cheese available for salad or pizza toppings.

Love this style of pizza and mod’s is consistently great. Also… why is their music so good! I need to find this mix… heard boys don’t cry and then Tears for Fears head over heels and then Alice In Chains no excuses. Maybe I don’t know how to use Spotify very well, but I’ve never gotten a good mix playlist like this.

Had a great time during our first visit to Mod. Staff were excellent in helping us understand the system and great at going along with some of our crazy requests (I made my pizza in four quarters to try different flavor combinations). Essentially, Mod is the Subway concept with pizza. Pick your size and build up everything from there. Once completed, the pizzas only take a few minutes to cook and Mod even offers finishing dressings to go on top once out of the oven. If pizza (especially thin crust) isn’t your thing, the same ingredients can be turned into a custom salad. I was also surprised to see a selection of bottled and draft beers available, but even more excited about the milk shakes (which we’ll definitely try on our next visit).
The Cottleville location is on the south end of the Schnucks shopping plaza at the corner of Hwy N and Mid Rivers. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and can accommodate large groups. If you’re in the area and jonesin’ for some make-your-own pizza (or salad) stop in and check this place out!

They have a lot of nerve to call themselves super fast. Order pick up and arrive at the promised time only to hear 10 minutes or so which is always 15-20. I hear a bunch of these are closing down and I can see why.
