I had a four hour layover at Detroit Metropolitan Airport and decided to stop by MOD Pizza for a quick meal. It turned out to be one of the most convenient and satisfying choices I could have made while waiting for my next flight. The location was easy to access within the terminal, making it a stress free stop during a long travel day.
Even though the staff let me know there could be a long wait due to how busy they were, they still managed to get my food out surprisingly fast. I really appreciated their honesty about the wait time and their efficiency in delivering my order sooner than expected. The team handled the rush with professionalism and a positive attitude, which made the experience even better.
The pizza was fresh, hot, and exactly what I needed during a long layover. Being able to enjoy a quality meal without worrying about missing my flight made a huge difference in my travel experience. I am very grateful for the quick service and the convenience this location offers.

This was by far the worst service I’ve experienced at any fast-food or casual restaurant. We came in after a hockey tournament in a great mood, and unfortunately every interaction with staff completely drained that energy.
Multiple staff members were openly rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. When I asked about using rewards, I was bluntly told they “don’t do that here,” with no explanation or courtesy.
With so many families traveling right before Christmas, I expected at least basic customer service. Instead, the experience was unpleasant from start to finish. Very disappointing.

Pizza was decent enough for airport food.
But the guy working the counter was beyond rude and not interested in working at all.
Made me think that it was a mistake stopping here operator of the restaurant has created perfect environment for people to never return here!

Today, I stopped by just before closing with my wife and our two kids. I want to thank the closing team for being so kind and accommodating. Traveling with young children is always challenging, and it can be tough to find something everyone wants to eat. We decided on pizza and came in near closing time. The managers were very understanding—they not only let us place an order but also allowed us to dine in. They kept the lobby open so we could enjoy our meal with the kids. As we were leaving, they even gave our little ones some coloring sheets to keep them entertained on our flight home. I just wanted to say thank you for the great experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the experience here was honestly terrible. The employees were extremely rude from the moment we walked in. We felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. Basic questions were met with attitude, and there was zero effort to be welcoming or helpful.
The food was fine, but it’s hard to enjoy a meal when the staff members are staring you down. Customer service goes a long way, and this place seriously needs to work on how they treat people. I won’t be coming back. Alonte & Kay’Jana G need to fix their attitudes with customers…

We ordered pizza for my whole family (4 of us) and the people working were very rude and were acting like we were asking too much from them. They hurried us with taking our order and kept stammering what else rudely, were not friendly at all, and yelled at us to not touch the glass when it was a slight brush against it. Overall terrible experience with the workers and very sad to see a great company like this having this terrible service. Everyone acted like they hated their job and didn’t want to be here. If I was as terrible of people as them I wouldn’t have left a tip.

The food is tasteless and overpriced. Their dough is sickly and doesn’t taste well. Their oven is dirty and leaves burn soot on the bottom leaving the “pizza” undercooked. The manager is unreasonable. The airport should replace this useless restaurant with a more authentic one.

Not sure if I was just really hungry but their pizza was very good. The drinks, no name cake, and service I had was also good. Their overall customer service was a 3.5/5, as I witnessed some short tempers from the employees. But to be fair, the customers were not very pleasant. Would recommend coming by here, the prices are good too. I will come here whenever I’m in DTW from now on. They also have charging stations which I LOVE and a pretty big seating area. Would recommend.
