Revisiting MOD Pizza
August 19th, 2025 –
Me and the fiancee was craving MOD again, so we decided to give it another shot. We walked in and were immediately greeted to our surprise. The workers were very nice and the atmosphere was completely different. I will say “kudos” to the management team for changing the environment and making the establishment an enjoyable experience. We will probably become regulars. Oh and pizza was yet again superb.

We walked in and the place was not inviting. There was one girl and 3 other guys there. The girl was the only one taking orders while the other guys were just standing around not really doing anything. There could have been atleast another working helping her out, but instead I had to sit and wait while one worker was doing nothing at all. As we checked out, I told the guy thanks for the sauce and he just said “yep”. The entire crew was very rude. Again, I don’t know if this MOD Pizza is racist or not, but the place gives off racist vibes indeed. The crazy thing is that the pizza was wonderful. I still will not go back to this uninviting MOD pizza.

I had an amazing experience at MOD Pizza in Gainesville. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were great. The Dillon James pizza that I ordered was fresh and cooked to perfection by Chase. The toppings were generous and delicious, and the crust was crispy and chewy. I was impressed with the quality of the pizza and the attention to detail in its preparation.
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were all courteous and helpful. I appreciated the comfortable atmosphere and the variety of seating options available.

Real BBQ Dude
You have to love it when you can make your own pizza and load up on all the toppings you want. I love cheese, pesto, ricotta, and all the meats. The crust comes out fire kissed and crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The restaurant is always clean and service is friendly. Get the balsamic fig glaze to top off your pie to give it a sweet and tangy finish.

Delicious pizza. My multiple food allergy daughter can eat their pizza and has been in heaven since being introduced. Non-dairy cheese for the win.
Staff almost suggested she go elsewhere bc of toppings cross-contamination. Understandable. Advised there is non-dairy cheese under cabinet and to please change gloves. Hour drive and we’ve been here several times. Worth the persistence.

Went with the wife and our 2 boys. The toddler had the cake while the rest of us shared a mini and 2 regular ones with the thick crust. Great casual atmosphere and lightning fast service. As for the pizza the flavors and quality both were great. And we will definitely be back here mamy times!

Anne and her staff are great, always hustling and working hard to bring the best experience to the customer. My pizza always turns out awesome, I like trying different combinations of toppings and sauces. The garlic and basil are great under the cheese for a base sauce.
