Inspired by our desire to serve and create a sense of community, Mockingbird Bar + Garden is a food and drink focused gathering place in a lively, convivial setting, stylishly designed to create memorable experiences. Located on the Bike Path and Open all day in European fashion, our combination of Espresso Bar, Cocktail Lounge and Wood-fired Kitchen offers fresh approachable Cicchetti (small plates) in the style of Venice, and prepared in our Wood Burning Oven, or as they in the French Countryside, “Au feu de bois”. Driven by our love for food and knowledge of wellness, our daily changing menu encourages you to eat seasonal and clean while still having a bit of indulgence.

Second time here – first time was for brunch and second time was for happy hour. Both times, service was fantastic!
We came back for their apple salad, it’s out of this world! We also got the artichoke hearts and gnocchi. Portions were generous and drinks were delicious. Will be back when we are in the area

Indoor outdoor seating, friendly staff, attentive servers, caring and passionate chef. Parking on the street or side streets near the residential homes and all free. Nice atmosphere all around. Food was good but just a little salty. The bartender was good too and whipped up good drinks all night. The pizza had a chewy thinner crust so I enjoyed that part a lot.

We threw a bridal shower for about 20 guests at the Mockingbird Bar and this venue was perfect. It’s inviting, eclectic, the coordinator and waitress were absolutely great. Food exceeded our expectations…everything was very delicious. My favorites were the salad, hummus flat breads with edible flowers, and gnocchi. We brought cake and vases of flowers to decorate the garden theme party. I would visit on any other day.

We just had a private client event at Mockingbird that went on without a hitch. From the decor, greeting our guests with champagne and taking their coats, to a great variety of food and cocktails, to Mockingbird’s spectacular staff! It was simply classy, refined and in a beautiful cozy atmosphere. Absolutely our favorite place! We go quite a bit as a couple and always leave feeling like we just spent time with family!

Made the trip to check this place out and boy I was not disappointed! The unique layout, the vibe, the service i mean all around an amazing spot. The Wood-fired food is exquisite and the drinks are top notch. Highly recommend checking this cozy gem out! Shout out to Tom and Will for taking care of us with wonderful hospitality!

Mockingbird is a hidden gem right next to the bike trail in East Dundee. We had the hot honey pepperoni ricotta wood fired pizza and it was outstanding. They also have very charming vibe, an impressive cocktail list and the option of indoor or outdoor seating. Definitely check it out!

Had an excellent time with my group of 6! It was quiet but humid for our visit and we really appreciated getting our whole group inside for an afternoon lunch.
The cocktails were all exquisite and not too sweet; good balance of flavors, and mocktails that are just as interesting are available too. The pizzas had a great, chewy crust and were perfect for splitting. For 6 people, we split 4 pizzas and only 4 of us had room for the dessert jars. The key lime pie jars were very bright and flavorful, and just the right serving size after our meal.
We loved all the decor, especially the bathroom mirror, and service was friendly and helpful. We’d gladly return!
