I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, and it was hands down the best dining experience I had while visiting Rio—truly unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious, easily the best city dining I’ve ever had in my life. Every dish was prepared fresh, and the portion sizes were generous, especially considering how affordable the prices were.
The views are stunning, which added to the overall experience. I made a reservation to dine outside, and it was honored with perfect seating—private, comfortable, and intimate. The atmosphere is ideal whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking to enjoy a peaceful, high-quality meal.
The drinks were great, and the staff were incredibly courteous and welcoming. Even though I’m not bilingual, I had no issues with communication whatsoever.
One of the things I appreciated most was the ability to walk around the area before or after dining—it’s a lovely neighborhood to explore. From start to finish, the experience was flawless, and the team truly made my birthday feel special.

The best seafood rodízio (all you can eat) experience of my life. There was shrimp, calamari, salmon, tuna, cod, octopus, lobster and many others. Everything was good, nothing was overcooked. This is worth going out of your way to try. I thought the service was very good too. My only regret is not coming sooner!

This is an all you can eat seafood place. Come with your appetite. They sushi, raw oysters (didn’t have left), grilled shrimp, octopus, lobster, and more. They also had paella. The servings are big so good with a large group so you can try different things.

The service was completely unprofessional. Given the high prices and the nice environment, I was expecting a much better experience.
To begin with, one of the waiters came to our table and placed his hand on it in an inappropriate and disrespectful way while explaining the menu. Later, the plates were taken away without even asking if I had finished eating. When I told him that I wasn’t done, he responded with a sarcastic smile and walked away.
At the end, before paying, he asked if everything was okay. I explained that his behavior was not acceptable, but he completely ignored my complaint. As we were leaving, he even tried to shake my hand as if nothing had happened and as if we were friends.
The restaurant made no effort to acknowledge or correct this situation. What could have been a small mistake turned into a very bad overall experience due to the lack of professionalism and proper customer service handling. I would expect a restaurant of this level to have better control over these situations and to properly train its staff on customer satisfaction

Absolutely spectacular! It is hard to say if the service or the food was the best as both were phenomenal. So many types of fish, sea bass, grouper, salmon, conger eel, and Japanese style Nigri, not to mention several different types/preparations of shrimp, and lobster tail. Keep in mind this is all-you-can-eat, served to your table as you ask, for less than $50USD per person.
There is a nice selection of drinks and deserts available for an additional charge. The tip is included in the price and is around 15%, but was too low in my opinion for the high quality of the service. Special shout-out for Miguel and Wilson! Gratidão demais!!
Directly outside the restaurant is a jetty style pier that has a beautiful view of Praia do Pepê and the Barra da Tijuca shoreline.

Don’t dare go to this restaurant they will rip you off… They charge us twice and added $90 for a tip and then acted like they didn’t know what we were talking about. It is a scam. The Cab driver tells you to go there that it’s the best restaurant and you go there and they don’t speak any English and then they charge you and charge you and charge $90 for two small things of wine also. If you are American do not go…horrible people!!!!

The owner is really nice and even took our picture. The atmosphere is romantic and lovely. I just wish he would do a better job with hiring. The server that ran my credit card also walked away with it without me noticing. Not what I would expect at a fancy restaurant that costs over 800 R for a dinner for two people. The seafood we had made me sick for the rest of my trip. Very disappointing.
