Staff is super friendly and helpful. A bit of a wait but they text you so go chill in the car for a bit. One of my favorite versions of shrimp and grits here. The catfish is pretty spot on as well. The crab wontons are a great app if you don’t want their heavily talked about shrimp starter. The hush puppies are pretty taste as well, no need for ketchup, fried just right.

Second attempt to get in over the past few weeks.
This place is always packed! Our timing was perfect this time. We were seated very quickly.
Heads up…it’s hot up in there.
Not quite unbearable but real close…
We started with the shrimp appetizer. Grilled shrimp floating in a spicy sauce served with wonderful bread. Absolutely wonderful!!
I had the grilled grouper wrap and fries. It has avocado in it with some spicy slaw and I added pineapple mango salsa! Great!! French Fries were crinkle cut and crispy!
My wife had the crusted flounder. She liked it ok. I thought it was great. Tender, Mild and flaky. Served over rice with asparagus and broccoli.

This is our place! The food, ambience, staff, and even kitchen staff are incredible.
Firstly, Dicky and his wife are true blue to the Hendersonville community. Not only are they there every night making sure things go well, but they are SUPER supportive of the incredible Hispanic community we have here in Hendersonville. Amazing. That’s all you can ask for.
Secondly, the staff: Cheyenne, Ryan, Haley, Erin, Clay, Grace, Abby…incredible. The aforementioned are the heart and soul of this place. They’re the reason we keep going back.
Thirdly, the entire “cast” and crew of Mobys is surrounded by people who genuinely care. It’s a rarity nowadays that you find a place that feels local in H’ville (I’m born and raised) due to the influx of people from all over; however, this place hits. Consecutively. Consistently. Accurately.
If you haven’t visited. Be patient; be kind; and tip these amazing people.

Great restaurant in a beautiful setting by the water. Obviously very popular as it was super busy and hard to get a park, so I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We ended up parking at a public parking spot close by and did the short 5 minute walk along the water to the restaurant, which was quite nice. Food was wonderful

Had over an hour wait on a Memorial Day weekend Saturday. Expected. Had 2 IPAs, mussels, blackened salmon, side salad and asparagus. Loved the atmosphere and view of Old Hickory Lake. Great service. I would eat here again for sure

This is a great place to go for casual or fancy feast dining. Classic burgers and cheese, or steaks and lobster. I’m a huge fan of the atmosphere because I don’t have to dress up to enjoy a great meal. I took my wife here for Mother’s Day and spent less than $200. That includes alcohol, steak, lobster, crab legs, my child’s meal, and the tip. The server cares and suits your needs continuously. On top of all of this, you’re right next to a lake and can enjoy a walk before or after. I recommend sitting inside, then taking a stroll after. I can’t say enough great things about this place. I’m definitely coming back.

First time to Moby Dickys.its a nice little place along the river right a nice river view. All of the food was amazingly hot when serviced including the giant pretzel appetizer. The waitress friendly and extremely nice.
