This is a small spot that seems more oriented toward takeout than dine-in. The menu looked appealing, and the staff was very kind and helpful, which I appreciated.

I ordered Combo #3, rice with vegetables and lamb, which is meant to serve two people. The food was okay, but nothing extraordinary, especially considering the price of $53, which I felt was a bit steep for the quality.

One small disappointment was that I was told I’d receive a small appetizer/sauce or two with the order (a side dish, I believe), but none were included. It wasn’t a huge deal, but added to the feeling that the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Overall, it’s not a bad place, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price.
Do not think that I will be back.

I live out of state, but I make it a point to come back to eat 1-2x EVERY TIME I’m here, at any location I can! I LOVE THIS PLACE! My husband and I got our own plate of kebab and humus and Naan. I cannot find an equivalent, in MN. Please open up the same place there!! Enjoy my photos! I take photos of the bathroom, because my elders need accessible bathrooms, so I know it’s important to others! P. S. I don’t think there’s a place to hang your coat on the back of the door, in women’s, of the bathroom, and thatd be nice.

I only went to this store because it’s on my way home, but never again! They mess up my orders all the time.My poor kids were waiting for their kebabs, and instead they sent something that looked like trash in the box. I refused to pay them any cent. Terrible experience all the time.

During my visit to **Moby Dick House of Kabob**, my experience left much to be desired: Ordered Chicken and Beef Combo with Rice and Salad.

* **Food quality:**

* The beef was bland, lacking spice or depth of flavor, and overall subpar.
* A single piece of chicken, I received was under-cooked, which is concerning from a food safety perspective.
* The rice was plain and flavorless, without even a touch of salt.
* Overall, this did not reflect the authentic or delicious meal I had expected, especially given the high price point.

* **Service:**

* The female cashier was polite at first, but her demeanor turned somewhat rude by the end of the transaction. Even after I tipped her 20% (for food I had to eat outside due to noise), there was no acknowledgment or gratitude—just attitude.
* The gentleman behind the register came across as nonchalant and unenthusiastic, adding to the overall lack of warmth.

* **Atmosphere:**

* Inside the restaurant, loud banging and hammering from what seemed to be repairs created a harsh, uncomfortable environment.
* The lack of a welcoming atmosphere made the experience feel transactional and cold.

Because of the noise, I chose to eat outside. Unfortunately, the food itself did not make up for the shortcomings in service or environment. This location is fine if you need a quick bite in a pinch, but do not expect authenticity, warmth, or good value for your money.

In hindsight, I would have been more satisfied grabbing a pizza at Whole Foods—cheaper, tastier, and appropriately priced.

**Conclusion:**
Don’t come here if you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience. Come only if there’s nothing else to eat.

**Note to the customer:**
This feedback is intended purely for you. Don’t waste your time and money here. The people in this restaurant can do better. I used to go the one at Georgetown, and it was actually nice. I’m hoping the one in Arlington is better.

I had a great experience at Kabob Restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic, with a variety of dishes to choose from. I ordered the chicken kabob with basmati rice and salad, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, the rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the salad was fresh and crisp. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Afghan and Middle Eastern cuisine.

Moby Dick House of Kabob in Springfield, located at 7116 Old Keene Mill Rd, is a local chain restaurant that serves up Middle Eastern classics like skewers and falafel. It appears to be a pretty popular spot, with many customers praising the quality and flavor of the food. You can expect fresh, flavorful dishes, with many reviewers highlighting the juicy and well-seasoned kabobs. The portions are generous, and it seems like you often get good value for your money.
While most reviews are positive, there are a few mentions of inconsistencies. Some customers have noted that the quality can vary, with occasional issues like soggy bread or meat that isn’t as tender as expected. However, these seem to be the exception rather than the rule. The service is generally considered friendly and helpful. It’s a casual, counter-service kind of place, perfect for a quick and tasty meal. It also seems like a great option for catering, offering trays and platters suitable for groups. Overall, Moby Dick House of Kabob in Springfield seems like a reliable choice for a flavorful and satisfying Middle Eastern meal.
