I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced during my recent visit. I have been a regular customer for quite some time, but my interaction with the cashier, Amir, was so unprofessional that I ultimately walked out without placing my order.
I approached the counter simply to mention that my last pickup order was incorrect — I received Chicken Kabob instead of Kobeda. I was not asking for a refund, replacement, or any discount. My only intention was to make the staff aware so the same mistake wouldn’t happen again with my current order. Instead of listening, Amir responded rudely, stated that he didn’t recognize me and had never seen me before, and told me to complain to corporate because there was no manager available in the store.
This kind of dismissive and disrespectful behavior toward a customer — especially a returning one — is unacceptable. Basic professionalism and courtesy should be the standard, regardless of whether someone is recognized personally or not.
I hope Moby Dick’s corporate office takes this feedback seriously. The food has always been good, but the level of customer service I experienced today was far below expectations and something clearly needs to be addressed.

I had a great experience at Moby Dick’s. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Belkis recommended the chicken kabob, and it was absolutely delicious tender, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the sides. I’m really glad I took the recommendation. Thanks to Belkis for making it such a great choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow! The chicken here is unbelievably good! So very tender and the seasoning they use is incredible! Had a great experience here. The kabobs were really good and full of flavor especially the wings super delicious I will no longer go buy wings anywhere else this are absolutely my favorite now. The young lady Belki was super nice, helped us with the menu and recommended the wings Service was great, food was delicious, and we’d definitely come back again.

I was looking for something new and different for dinner and discovered this little gem of a middle eastern / Mediterranean restaurant. There were many choices that made it difficult to decide. They also have large family platters which is convenient when ordering for the entire family. It is obvious this is a very popular place and you need to be slightly patient not only because of other orders in front of you but also because food is prepared fresh. The meats were very tender and full of flavor, taking me back to past trips to the Middle East. Salad was also very fresh along with rice that was cooked to perfection, not hard or mushy. The staff was very friendly and organized as you must be to run a high tempo restaurant. They do take quite a bit of pickup orders as well. I definitely recommend checking this restaurant out in the Sterling Dulles Town Center. It is between Chipotle and the VA ABC.

You would expect that after several times of visiting here to feed my family of 8 and spending hundreds of dollars on catering for personal events that the customer service would be 5 star but that is not the case. We always ask for no tomatoes in our orders yet open the to-go boxes and guess what, receive tomatoes. The weekday worker is not friendly at all and selective on whom he gives good service to. Whenever we ask for a little extra sauce (we usually have at least 5 different plate orders), we always get grief as if the cost of sauce is subtracted directly from his paycheck. We are disappointed at the lack of customer service when we constantly come here. We will take our business elsewhere from now on.

The food was mediocre. Having grown up on kabobs, they were subpar to what I’m used to. I was expecting more flavor with how hyped up this place has been.
The fresh bread (not sure if I’d consider that naan) is a nice touch. The yogurt sauce honestly tastes homemade.
The hummus was also good.
