Stopped in for lunch after visiting the whaling museum. We were seated right away and had a friendly and attentive server. Nice craft brew selection – I had the Inward Delight Octoberfest lager. Very good. For lunch I had the fried cod sandwich, which was excellent, and my wife had the Ahab’s Obsession burger, which was a burger patty topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese and many other fixings. It was a beast, and so good. I must mention the French fries which came with the meal — they were the best fries I have ever had. You must give Moby Dick Brewing Co. a visit. Great food and great beer!!

Really good and nice looking place. Good service from the very nice girls. They have a nice retail store. The food was good. We had an app that was on the special that was so delicious, all of my party loved their food. I have to be honest and say my steak rice bowl kinda of lacked some flavor, and the steak came overcooked, but that didn’t interfere with enjoying the food. I’ll definitely be coming back more times to try other items in the menu!

Coming from a g.m. of a restaurant, I understand closing early on Sundays everyone wants to go home, however:
*Was very mich rushed to order a last call on sunday night at 8 pm while 4 staff members stood behind me and my friends waiting for us to hurry up and finish.
* not that we wanted to stay forever but to be burnished out by 815 I think is a bit extreme and early
* food was good var snacks, fries a bit undercooked but tasty sliver type fries were a great touch
* would have like to be checking on maybe once at night about our beverages, I would have returned it for something I would have enjoyed
* I would suggest cocktail napkins on the table or when we were brought our martinis which kudos to the stemless glass great touch, and they were full for sure.
* not a bad experience and will try again, just some areas that would have made my experience better. And ir being my birthday and a friends celebrating we would have like to enjoy more time.

What a great brewery and restaurant. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The beer is top notch, and the food was delicious . Well worth the trip. They have beer flights and a great selection of beers. The brewer Scott was very welcoming and friendly. Our server Mat M. was great he was welcoming and attentive to our needs during our visit. The food was delicious , very fresh. I can’t say enough about the experience we had at this restaurant brewery. Scott and Mat, thank you for making us feel welcome and the attention we received during our visit. The brewery and restaurant atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and welcoming. It is well worth the drive to try them out!! There is plenty of parking in the area and it’s very well lit at night. Beautiful area to walk around near the ocean, and they have outside seating area too. We will definitely be back !

Last minute choice after visit to the NB Whaling Museum. Food, brew, excellent. Sydney was so helpful in choices of brew and food. 4-star because it was a bit cool but overall a chill atmosphere. Will visit again

First 2 times my girlfriend and I came here alone and then with friends. It was so great! However, this last time our waitress was so damn rude to us right from the beginning! This was a young, thin waitress with curly brown hair and glasses. She then mistakenly told me there was nothing to worry about with my food allergies. However, 15 minutes later, she informed me she was mistaken about the ingredients with 2 of the 3 items I ordered. I had no choice but to cancel my order. At this point she shamed me for “wasting their food!” – get some manners! Even before the whole food allergy mishap she was quite rude, unwelcoming, and unpleasant. We will avoid this place in fear of getting this waitress again.

Was able to dine outside, had some tasty beers the colonial ale and new England hazy IPA. Dinner was very good, shared the bacon wrapped scallops with a bourbon sauce. Stuffed Portuguese clam, clam chowder, and strawberry walnut salad with grilled shrimp. All the food was very good.

Absolutely fantastic every time I go! The beer is frequently changing, the food never disappoints, and the service is excellent. There was a small issue with my original order and the server was so quick to help resolve it, the kitchen got my order fixed so fast and the food was incredible. When I tell you that I’m still dreaming about the french fries… they are cut thin so they have the perfect amount of fluff and crunch. We had planned to get different desserts but the tiramisu was the special and it was the best tiramisu I have ever had in my life! These photos are from my visit a few weeks ago and I plan on coming back today!

Follow up visit to Moby Dick. Had the Pulpit on draft. Thought it was really good. Also had a cup of chowder which was great. On a previous trip, I went with a flight of beer. Went with the Inward, Whalers Jaw, Simple, and Queen. They were all pretty smooth and easy drinking. Tried their calamari. Found it to be fresh with a good crunch batter. Not rubbery at all and had a good aoli sauce. Had a cup of chowder which was pretty good. Will try the quahog next time. Gave it a shot, but was way over cooked and they took it back. Had a cod fish sandwich, which was excellent. Wife had a Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and thought it was pretty good. However, she started with the rice pudding Martini and was in here happy place by the time her food came out.

Made a reservation on open table. Was greeted at the door, and got drinks soon after being seated. Waitress was lovely, and food was delicious. Atmosphere was good, lower lighting but not too dark, and music was not too loud. Overall would go back and also recommend to friends!
