We had wanted to try this place, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. We are so glad that we went on 02-15-26. The food was fantastic and so was the service. This little gem is a wonderful go to for some delicious food!

This place is too cute. The workers were very nice. The restaurant was clean. The only reason behind the four stars was that the hush puppies were not quite finished in the middle, they don’t serve diet soda ( only Coke Zero), and there was not a changing station in the men’s. We ordered fish sandwiches, fries, onion rings, hush puppies, and a brot sandwich. When it comes to the restrooms, they were not only clean, but they were adorable.

I love the food but everytime I go through there I feel like I’m pulling teeth just to get some tarter sauce. They are so cheap and stingy with their sauces. I ordered a family feast, which comes with 6 pieces of fish. I asked for 5 tarter sauces for the whole meal and they only give me 3. Food is great but the service sucks!!!!

Fish box for 2 was great. Had fish and orings to take home. Fish was hot and fresh from the frier. Next trip to Louisville I will be going back.

I ordered a 2 first mate sandwich’s, an order of fried pickles and an order of cheese sticks. The fried pickles were a little over $5 and they gave me 12 little pickle chips. I order from here all the time. And and the tiny little container is usually full this time it don’t even cover the bottom of the container. For as much as food costs anymore you should at least give me what I paid for. I spent almost $27 on 2 pieces of fish 4 pieces of white bread 4 cheese sticks and about a pickles worth of fried pickles. Crazy.

The fish was good as always,the fries were under cooked ,the onion rings were all breaded together and extremely hard ,hush puppies were way over cooked. I generally eat there at least once a week..but I think that’s going to change

Only giving 1 star because I can’t give 0. My boyfriend picked us up dinner and as soon as we went to start eating, I noticed a long black hair on one of our hush puppies. At first glance I thought it could’ve been my dogs hair and went to pick it up when I realized it was COOKED INTO the hush puppy…. Which instantly made us both sick to our stomach. We checked the other hush puppies and it ended up being more than one. I couldn’t get an answer when I tried calling so we ended up driving back up to talk to a manager. We threw the rest of the food away since we had both lost our appetite and took the hush puppies with us. I explained to the lady at the counter what the issue was and kindly asked for a refund. She explained she could either remake it or refund the money for the hush puppies which normally I would be okay with since I’ve worked in the food industry for 10+ years but the fact that it was cooked into it…. Couldn’t really get past that so I explained neither of us would eat the food even if it was remade and we had thrown away the rest of it. She stated she had to call someone to ask if she could since she doesn’t have the authority to do a full refund. The person on the phone said the same thing she first told us so I repeated myself again until the person on the phone agreed to give us a full refund. I don’t intend this review to bash them but maybe to warn others to just be cautious and check your food and maybe for the employees to wear hairnets while preparing the food or handle situations like this better in finding a solution.
