I ordered the Chicken Katsu and was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed the flavors and the fact the curry had a little spice to it! The gentleman who took my order and made it was very kind and quick to make the food! The bowl was a nice treat on a cold day and warmed me up! Took it a star down just because the carrots & potatoes needed to cook a little longer but other than that vey very happy with the order. Thank you!

Excellent food.!! Excellent customer service.!
After a slight mix up with my order, {during the very hectic Balloon Fiesta!} they were quick to make things right and delivered a fresh dish.
I ordered the Meshi chicken with Soba noodles. It was delicious! In fact, it was so good that after trying it my husband went back to order his own meal.
Definitely recommend!

The shoyu broth is delicious. It’s so rich, umami in flavor but also slightly sweet, though not too sweet, and very creamy. The chicken katsu has the perfect amount of crunch. The curry is also delicious and well-balanced in flavor. It was a decent portion.

If you crave Japanese food that’s not teppan or sushi, I highly recommend MobiyakiABQ. It’s a Japanese street food truck that’s usually at one of the food truck parks, but is also available on food delivery apps. It is so so good!
Pictured is the katsu curry and korrokke. The pork cutlet on the katsu dish was PERFECTLY done. Tender, juicy pork with a crispy outside that survived the delivery time. The sauce and curry were delicious. Good proportions of rice to vegetable under the pork.
I’ve also had the okonomiyaki before, but haven’t seen it on the delivery menu for a while. I found this food truck when I got back from Japan and was desperately searching for anywhere in Albuquerque that served okonomiyaki. Mobiyaki was the only place! I’m hoping it’s still on the menu if you’re physically at the truck.
Give this place a try if you love Japanese street food! Their food is delicious, well proportioned, and highly affordable. And let me know if okonomiyaki is still on their menu

The food was good, the team was very nice. I can’t find better katsu! The rice was PERFECT. Was told by my spouse and mom that the fired rice was spicer than imagined but the teriyaki was AWESOME

This place is bomb, I got the Katsu Curry off of the new item menu, and I love it. I could eat it daily. Also got the raspberry dessert things, so good and shaped like a fish lol, how fun is that. Also got a Ramune’ for a drink, so cool to open and the flavor reminds me of bubble yum bubble gum. And I can’t forget the girl that takes your order, super friendly and smiley definitely a person you want giving a first impression of your place. All on all A+ so glad I stopped

Please give this gem support and love. I go there for one thing – the pork cutlet curry! I’ve been working in restaurants for several decades, I know that there is love and pride behind this dish from eating it. Pork isn’t just battered and deep fried but have many steps in preparation before hitting the oil, then there also the mastery of oil temp to cook a thick cut without burning. They’re doing it right! The cutlet is thick, has a nice pork flavor without being overpowered by the taste of oil, but is properly tender, and the curry is well balanced which so many restaurants have a problem doing. I give them props. I’ve been there many times and they have never lead me to think they’re using old burnt oil. If you want to have a proper cutlet, come here. The old man back there is master of cutlet.

Delicious food, served fast – a definite crowd pleaser! We got fried rice with chicken and yakisoba with tofu to split between our family of 4 and even the pickiest eaters got way into everything! Big favorites were the yakisoba and the tofu with the best plum sauce ever!
