Bar and grill feel with a cozy atmosphere. My waitress was a little inattentive. If you like old fashions, you will not like their peach old fashioned. Both mine and my wife steaks where prepared exactly to our order. The vegetable medly was way over steamed but tasty. The macaroni and cheese was very tasty. @$97 00 for 2 dinners with 2 drinks slightly overpriced but flavor and all made up for it. Definitely a date night rendezvous point. I give an 8/ 10

Absolutely delicious. My husband and friend had the Salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and garlic salad. Our friend had the seafood sampler with garlic mashed and wedge salad. I added a spinach salad and loaded baked potato and shared my husband salmon because there was plenty. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer and their awsome rolls with honey butter. The server Hillary was a gem and answered all our questions. The atmosphere is impeccable. The prices are reasonable. Definitely will be back.

I haven been wanting to come here for a log time. Im glad I came because I will not be back, the waitress did not came to our table until like 15min after we sat down. After our food she just came one time. The lobster was so small that looked like a shrimp. The steak had no flavor, I season steak better than here. Let’s just say that the only good thing was the onion rings as appetizer and my daughter’s french fries, she didn’t even like her mac and cheese and she loves her mac and cheese. Portions a lot smaller than expected. I think I will continue to eat my stake at my favorite place even if I have to wait a long time to get in. We will not he back.

We drove from Cedar Rapids for my birthday because this is one of my favorite restaurants. I usually get the fried or coconut shrimp because they are AMAZING! They did not disappoint! One of my friends had the salmon which was very good. My husband had his usual ribeye which was a little more done then he usually likes (he prefers medium rare this was more medium) but still delicious. Another person in our party had steak Oscar. He said it was pretty good but it was very small for the price (yes, the prices had increased since last time we were there). All in all a very nice experience. My two complaints are the music was kinda loud (unusual for them) making it a little harder for our group of 6 to visit. We asked if it could be turned down and were told no there was a party coming in the owner did not want to turn it down. We were there an hour and a half and no party came in. Also, the hostess (or maybe owner) who was an older woman seemed to want us to leave the minute we finished eating. The restaurant was not at all busy (there were maybe 5 tables with customers) and when we got up to leave she all but rushed us out the door holding it open for us (which was nice) but barely acknowledged our thank yous. It was like just wanted us to leave. Very odd. Our waitress was great and they did do a bread pudding and ice cream and even sang Happy Birthday which was fun. Bottom line. Excellent food. Higher prices. Loud music. Good wait staff. We will probably continue to come back…..we shall see if it remains worth the hour and 20 min drive.

Mo Brady’s Steakhouse delivered a solid overall experience. I think it’s been 20 years since we last ate there. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, which matters and doesn’t always happen. Personally, I prefer a bit more seasoning out of the kitchen, so I added some salt and pepper to help but that maybe more preference than a flaw. The quality of the steak itself was good, and execution was on point. Not mind-blowing, but definitely not bad, and we will end up going back.

Before reading my review I would like to say that the last time I was here was pre covid.

Had their steak house burger. Had the option for a little pink or no pink. I chose a little pink, it was cooked through until not pink at all. There was supposed to be bacon jam on my burger yet all that was on it was hard bacon. I’m not talking crispy bacon that crunches in your mouth, I mean hard overcooked, black bacon. I recently made bacon jam at home for the first time and the one time I made it at home it tasted better and had way more flavor. There happened to be cheese on the burger too, was used to keep the small amount of bacon on the burger. The burger was extremely dry, along with almost no flavor. However, the bun was really good. The texture of the meat was actually superb. I was just able to notice it because half of my burger didn’t have the hard as heck bacon on it. I just wish the burger had more going on, and for 30 bucks I expect a burger of higher quality. Maybe its my fault for ordering a burger at a steak house.

I watched my mom order a blue cheese salad and crab cakes. It had been a while since she has visited this restaurant as well but did say that the food was not how she remembered it. The salad was ice burg lettuce with a small amount of blue cheese dressing and bacon on it. Seemed very over priced for what was given to her. The crab cakes she ordered were no longer a meal and instead an appetizer. I was able to sample a small portion of one and something was off about the flavor profile of it. She wasn’t the biggest fan of the change to the recipe either.

I was actually able to come to the place again to see if it was just what we ordered. I think the steak with peppercorn sauce I had was pretty good. The steak was slightly overcooked after ordering medium rare but the really good sauce made up for it. However I might add that at this price point of 40+ bucks for a steak, you may want to hone the cooks you have in the kitchen. Their skills need improvement. If I, a novice home cook, can rival or slightly surpass the food put out at a restaurant for 30% of the total cost, why would I ever go out to your restaurant?

The waitresses we had were amazing, the service was spectacular but the food was not as good as I would of liked for the price point.

When you go to a steakhouse you don’t order Chinese. Steak was great prepared as ordered. Surveying the room they were accommodating a small party like ours, a large group and every size between. A hard, “YES!” Good stop!

Love the remodel!! The 20 oz Cowboy Ribeye is off the hook!! The garlic salad is amazing!! The restaurant was packed, and the noise level was good. Our waitress was very busy but got all of our food perfect!

The robotic bus boy is the highlight of our kids. The $8 creme brulee is an incredible value. Frankly for $39 I like a bit more for my money than a boneless ribeye and a few fries… But it was a decent steak.
