Having lunch at Mo Bettah’s in Tville was an excellent experience from start to finish. I am DELIGHTED that the new location has opened in Taylorsville! The food is delicious and FRESH. All the meat plates are cooked to perfection-I particularly love the Teriyaki chicken and Teri Steak with rice and mac salad.The food items are cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Pake Salad is very fresh and a good size. An ice cold POG juice (passion fruit, orange and guava) or fruit punch is perfect on a hot day and I love their Small Kine Cookie Cup too-it’s a perfect treat to grab when on the go.The staff is really where they shine. Everyone is genuine and friendly-willing to explain dishes and how they are made and they made me feel appreciated.The store itself is very clean including the restrooms. Mo Bettahs Tville is my new favorite spot to have lunch or even just to run through the drive through. Everytime I visit I am completely satisfied. Try everything, I super recommend!!

I don’t know why I choose this location. The last couple times I have went, they have put hardly any of atleast 1 of the meats. And it tends to be the Teri Steak (that is charged extra) so, you’re telling me that you’re going to charge me extra for something, but put a less amount of the item inside the order? How is that fair or right to the customer? There is literally only 3 SMALL pieces in the box that I just opened, none under the big pieces of the chicken..so, what the heck?

Overall, energy on opening day was great. Menu selection was good, food tasted good and the POG was delightful. However, I ordered the 3 meat option (teriyaki chicken, teriyaki steak and Kahlua pork) but I only received two types of chicken and beef. I was too tired to call or go back, when I realized the mistake at home. Just a reminder to double check orders going through drive thru to ensure a good customer experience. I probably would have rated them higher if that was the case.
**UPDATE: Management seen this post and replied by sending me two card vouchers for future use. The kahlua pork was delightful although a bit overly salted. The fact they took time to listen to their customer and make things right, encourages me to update the rating from 4 star to 5. Thank you for ensuring customers feel seen & heard. Mahalo. ❤️

The food and quality of the experience is always good when I come. Even with it being the start of the day they were prompt to serve and accommodate us in whatever ways needed. In addition to the food it was a great sit down environment with pictures and music of cultural significance all around the restaurant. It definitely gave out the Hawaiian Cuisine feel to it. Mo’ Bettahs has never ceased to impress me yet, and this location is definitely no exception.

Staff did a fantastic job for opening day! Everyone was so friendly! Food was hot and and delicious! Portions were just right! The dining area was clean and there was a great vibe with the decor and overhead music. Also, I know this is weird thing to mention, but their water tasted extra refreshing! Past few times we ordered through drive through everyone has always been nice and food is given quick even during busy hours. But past few times the teri chicken was burnt and dont get me wrong i like a lil charred moment on teri bbq chicken but sometimes their chicken is burnt to the point you can barely bite it. Everything else is good.. portion sizes could be bigger on the teri steak but all in all pretty good

My rating is based on what I received when I opened the container after arriving home. I ordered the three meat meal so I would have leftovers, but unfortunately only received one of the three meats. I was expecting to also see shrimp tempura, and chicken katsu in addition to the teriyaki steak, and they are nowhere to be found. Disappointed for all the money I spent, and no leftovers! The young man who took my order and gave me my food at the window was very pleasant however. I just wish the order had been correct!

I love Mo’ Bettahs. This one is different and has been disappointing compared to the other Mo’ Bettahs I have been to. I bought a mini with 2 Kalua pork meat and it was terrible. It was so dry. It was tough to chew. It was kind of like chewing on jerky. The other Mo’ Bettahs kalua pork I have tried has been juicy and shredded and not hard to chew at all.
I’m not sure what is going on at this location but it is disappointing.
Today was the 2nd time I have ordered at this location. I also have noticed the portion sizes seem to be smaller at this location compared to other locations but I can’t confirm. Anyways, I feel it is safe to say I won’t come back to this location which is unfortunate since its location is pristine.

The Katsu chicken was over cooked and the Kahlua pig was so salty, I couldn’t eat it and this was my 1st trying this. I usually get the teriyaki chicken alnogside the Katsu chicken. The macaroni salad was delicious but just couldn’t get past the meats.

We were so excited for the Taylorsville location, so close to home, but going there three times we are not thrilled and unfortunately don’t think we will return. The portions are just awful. The idea is getting a three meat plate for my husband and I to share and have leftovers for another meal. It’s kid meal portions on a $20 meal where other locations you get great portions and it’s less expensive. Please do better!
