But honestly, the customer service today really stood out. Everyone working was super friendly and on top of it. They were quick, helpful, and made the whole experience feel easy and actually enjoyable. You could tell they cared, which goes a long way.
Place was clean, portions were solid, and everything tasted great.
If you want good food and people who actually give great service, Mo’ Bettahs is the move. Highly recommend.
I have had their Teri, Katsu, Pulehu chicken dishes as well as their Kalua Pig. I have never been disappointed with any of them but I have a fondness for the Katsu (probably a texture thing).
While this is not the cheapest meal you can get, I would say you will surely get your monies worth. If you are trying this out for the first time, it is safe to get the Mini as even that gives you a good amount of food for lunch.
I think their mac salad is the best out there (I think some would disagree as I feel there are mac salad detestors out there.)
They do offer extra sauces but I have never felt like I needed more sauce as what they have by default is good (for the flavored ones, you will want to make a sauce selection for the Katsu for example).
The service has always been a good experience, the people have been very good at helping make a decision. I have never felt rushed even during a busy period.
Give the spam musubi a try once, you will either not care for it or find it to be a hidden gem of goodness.
I highly suggest giving Mo’Bettahs a try!
The food was great, too.
I will say stuff is clean, food is fresh, carbs are plenty, staff is great, location is convenient, contingent upon your proximity.
It’s basically Chipotle only much less interesting and far bigger portions. It’s also a food genre that isn’t as much of a thing as this franchise makes it out to be but I’m not the food genre sheriff so please ignore all that I’ve said so far or am about to say.
God bless them, their local operator and their staff, particularly the manager tonight. He was awesome and most likely way underemployed and underpayed like the rest of us.
I want to know what’s going on with the east side of the former Black Bear Diner. It’s kind of creepy that it’s just all closed off like it is.
Solid experience. I fully support their fans. I asked about the rewards program but I’m really not interested and would likely never use it. They have locations all over the place. I once thought it was local for various and sundry reasons. I was wrong about that and may be completely wrong about my enthusiasm with this restaurant. If this place was my ex-wife, I’d totally go through the motions and be situationally depressed. But I’d stay for the kids because that’s what I was taught you’re supposed to do.
Emailed corporate and no response. This location stole my money. Next step is going to be a dispute with my credit card.
