When it comes to the different Hawaiian food restaurants in the DFW Metro I would probably rate Mo’ Bettahs in the top 3. Even though they weigh the food portions. The meat portions are still huge, whether you get a one two or three meat option.

This was my first time here. I love Hawaiian Bros so I obviously wanted to try a restaurant toting a similar menu.
I ordered the Kahlua Pig and the Teriyaki Chicken. As much as I wanted to love this place, it just wasn’t great. My kahlua pig was not fresh at all, and was tough at best. While I will say the Terikayi was good, it just was not as flavorful as it should have been. The macaroni salad saved the day, though! 5 stars!
And the staff! The kind young people that helped me today were exceptional!
Good portion sizes for the price, just wish the food had been better.

My first time visiting here and the experience was very good. Staff was very nice. The food tasted so good. Taste it like someone was cooking outside on the grill some good chicken and pulled pork and steak on a Barbie. I got I think it was called the big boy. The biggest food tray they have. Steak, chicken and pig or pulled pork. I guess. The meat all tasted like it was fresh off the grill cooked seasoned very nicely too. The rice tasted great the mac & cheese salad taste a good. Everything about the presentation about this place was just really good. I will definitely be coming back here. Great place for a Fourth of July takeout.

We were pleasantly surprised. The food was good. I usually do not care for cold macaroni, but Mo’ Bettahs macaroni was pretty good. The pork and steak were also delicious. Really good amount of food for the price point. A special shout out to Caleb! He was very kind and hospitable.

My son and I got the Ekolu “The Big Boy” meal. I got mine with Puleho Chicken, Kalua Pig and Teriyaki Steak with the rice and macaroni salad. He got: Katsu Chicken, Teriyaki Steak and Puleho Chicken with just rice. I had a bite of the Katsu Chicken and it was delicious! I missed out for sure. My wife had the Pake Salad with chicken. We also got 2 Spam Musabi for take home. I know I’m missing something. I’ll edit when I remember. Delicious food at a reasonable price. We all took food home. I’m sure we’ll be back soon to try different things.

Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food in Fort Worth is a taste of the islands right here in Texas! From the moment I walked in, the amazing atmosphere transported me to a relaxed and inviting setting, complete with thoughtful decor that truly captures the spirit of aloha. I even noticed a neat card explaining the “Shaka” sign – that classic hand gesture symbolizing aloha, happiness, friendship, and taking it easy. It was a cool little detail that added to the genuine island vibe. Adding to the ambiance were beautiful photographs adorning the walls, including a captivating shot of a surfer riding a vibrant green wave and other stunning images of powerful ocean waves and serene Hawaiian landscapes. There was even a wonderful piece of artwork featuring a silhouette of a hand making the Shaka sign against a breathtaking sunset over the ocean – a perfect photo opportunity that truly embodies the spirit of aloha! What truly resonated with me was the “Mo’olelo – Our Story” displayed on the wall, sharing the heartfelt inspiration behind Mo’ Bettahs. It spoke of family, ‘ohana, and the tradition of cooking with real aloha, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and well-fed. Signed by Kimo and Kalani Mack, it’s clear that this restaurant is built on a foundation of love for good food and the spirit of Hawaiian hospitality. To complete the island experience, I also enjoyed a refreshing can of Hawaiian Sun Strawberry Guava Nectar – a taste of pure tropical goodness that perfectly complemented my meal. And the food? Absolutely ono (delicious)!
We ordered the teriyaki chicken and steak combo, and it was a feast for the senses. The chicken and steak were both incredibly tender and flavorful, perfectly marinated in that classic teriyaki sauce. The mac salad was creamy and delicious, and the fresh veggies added a vibrant crunch and balance to the meal.
The portion sizes are incredibly generous – I was able to enjoy the amazing food all day long! It’s definitely a great value for the quality and quantity you receive.
Based on the photos, the presentation is also fantastic, with colorful and appetizing dishes that make you want to dig right in.
If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Hawaiian food, with large portions, a fantastic and culturally rich atmosphere enhanced by details like the Shaka explanation, the beautiful sea turtle artwork, captivating surfing and ocean photography, a heartwarming story that speaks to the true meaning of aloha, the delightful taste of Hawaiian Sun beverages, and even fun photo opportunities that perfectly capture the island spirit, Mo’ Bettahs in Fort Worth is a must-try! The spirit of aloha is definitely present in every aspect, and I highly recommend it.

Got the Teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura on a bed of rice with mac salad. I’m a big lad whose back is wide, when I say I left full and happy I mean it. Shout out to the wonderfully nice team here. The chicken was moist and sweet( I recommend the yeobo sauce to dip it in) and the tempura shrimp was fried to make it crunchy but not too crunchy. (Also recommend the spicy mayo to dip in.) Prices are reasonable for the size you get and the vibes are very laid back and relaxed. I would add photos but I ate the food too quickly.

The customer service we got was amazing! Felt like I was welcomed. The chicken teriyaki tasted amazing. Portion size I felt like the amount of chicken we got was really worth it. The picture is what was left, I am going to be eating this for lunch the next day. So yummy in the tummy, will be coming back here again
