I am from the island and I been going to mo bettahs because I love there food it reminds me of home. But when I ordered my food from door dash. What I got was overcooked kalua pig and the katsu chicken just cut in 2 pieces. I also ordered shrimp tempura and guess what they buried it under the other food. So is was soggy. The teriyaki steak it looks there is no sauce on it. it felt like they just want to get the order out and close the the store. This is not like the others mo bettahs I been to.

Surfed in to our 3rd KC location. Food was great as always. Inside decor was fine but like the other locations better and they have extra sauces on counter.Had AC on and was too cold, previous day was warmer but was not adjusted. Seemed understaffed and they ran so much it was probably right temp for workers but not diners. Bathrooms were very clean.

This was our very first visit and the food was amazing. The worker at the front counter was very helpful and had some great recommendations. The food was very flavorful. The tonkatsu chicken was very crispy and delicious, the teriyaki chicken was very juicy and flavorful, the Kahlúa pork was also delicious.
I highly recommend this place and give this place a try. If you are thinking about it, you will not be disappointed!

In town for work and got stoked when I saw Hawaiian food near me! Haven’t had good Hawaiian food in a decade since leaving Las Vegas. This place did not disappoint and hit that decade long plate lunch craving! Teriyaki steak and chicken were on point! Not only was the food stellar, the people working here are fantastic! Everyone working was in a greag mood and genuinely looked happy to serve and take care of the guests! You dont have to be a 5 star restaurant to deliver 5 star service! Keep up the great work Mo’ Bettahs!

Overall, the food was delicious and better than Hawaiian Bros, especially the macaroni salad. After ordering, the food got out relatively fast which makes this a good option for people who are time-strapped or need a meal in a hurry. The rice and the macaroni salad were delicious, but the meats were yummy also.

They had the audacity to serve me old hard rice! YOU KNOW RICE YOU CANT EVEN CHEW.
If yall can’t serve rice properly, what else can’t yall do ?
Usually the food is decent but this time everything had a odd taste. Macoroni salad, chicken and the pulled pork….usually mo bettahs is decent….. not this time though. Won’t be back.

The food tasted very homemade, perfectly grilled meat and gave off the vibes that it was cooked on an open fire with nice charred edges. They also had plenty of different meat options like steak, 3 types of chicken and kalua pork (the only meat we didn’t try). The teriyaki chicken and steak was the best, and the pulehu chicken was also nice and garlicky. Get their spicy teriyaki sauce and katsu sauce with your platter.

Their large cuts of meat were way better than Hawaiian bros, and their flavour profile was unique and distinct. I really liked the fresh cabbage slaw which cut down the richness and you could sub a nice fresh salad as one of your sides for a $1. I didn’t care for mac n cheese cos it just tasted like mayonnaise but I liked the carrots in it.

Definitely get the spam musubi, it had a yummy glaze, the spam was perfectly cooked and the rice with furikake seasoning was amazing. Can’t wait to go back, the service was really good too.
