Mn Fish is a great spot. The restaurant is very clean, even looking into the kitchen, everything looks well-maintained, including the floors, which I really appreciate.
The fish tastes great: light, crispy, and not overly battered or heavy. The portion sizes are excellent. Even the one-piece fish meal is generous, and the kids’ meals are surprisingly large as well. You definitely get your money’s worth.
They offer complimentary lemon water, which is a nice touch. The tartar sauce is really good, and the hot sauce is flavorful too. Customer service was solid, and the bathroom was clean, always a plus.
I would definitely come back. My only small complaint is that I wish they stayed open a bit later. Otherwise, a great experience overall.

Delicious! We have been several times and each visit was great. The fish is always crispy, the waffles fries are perfect, and the sauce is rich and creamy. All the fish varieties are good but the cod is our favorite. Very clean, but smaller amount of seating available. Always hits the spot for those fish and chips cravings.

Some of the best fried fish I’ve had, maybe ever! We got the walleye and catfish and chips, and kiddo got chicken. Everything was made fresh, the batter on everything was the crunchiest I’ve ever had. The restaurant was super clean and really cute, and the people working were friendly. We decided to stop here for lunch after shopping at Target after seeing the high reviews. There was a lot to look at on the menu but after making a decision, the ordering process was very easy and the fact that you had a choice between French fries or a waffle fries and coleslaw or a dinner roll was really nice. They’ll ask what kind of sauces you’d like also.
If dining in, they’ll bring it to your table. I love the square paper plates. They’re a nice size and the portion size of the food was perfect. I’ve had fried fish and chips where it was really heavy and greasy. This was sooo light and there was hardly a trace of grease. Everything was delicious!
My 5 year old son took a bite of the cod fish and immediately said wow! He continued saying wow 7 more times and kept on saying he wanted to come back. My husband and I definitely agree.
It was nice to see them cleaning and keeping the place nice and tidy. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great food!

Saw this place driving by and thought I should try it out reviews looked great and it was! fish was super light and fresh, the fries had great flavor! Coleslaw was refreshing. Inside was really clean. My brother has the cheese curds very crispy and light and cheese was very high quality and cheese pull was fantastic! I will definitely be back the next time I’m down here for weekly wheels!

Ordered through Door Dash. The cod and clams were amazing! Fresh, crispy, and hot. Would rather have a more creamy coleslaw, but that is a minor point. One of our new spots! Love this place. RECOMMEND!

Delish, clean, fast and priced fairly. Easily one of our best fish & shrimp meals in a very long time. There are a lot of restaurant choices in Apple Valley but MN Fish & Chip will definitely be a top contender when we visit the area again.

Very clean inside and bathroom. Can see right into kitchen. You can’t even smell grease or fried food. Love that! I ordered the cod and 3 piece shrimp, waffle fries. Fish was very fresh, batter was light and crispy, everything was made to order. The only thing is the batter wasn’t seasoned, but that’s just my personal preference. I will be back to try the wings. If your looking for a fish and chips fix give this place a whirl. It will get the job done for sure.
