My husband and I drove 60+ mile to eat here for Valentines. I searched online for a great Prime Rib in the Richmond area and I was not disappointed. Nice, quaint, cozy place. The staff were very friendly and readily available. As mentioned, I ordered the Prime Rib and it was perfect. Loved the flavor and sauce. Hubby ordered the Ribeye medium well. Unfortunately, it was a bit too well done and tough. The cook apologized and replaced it with a perfection of another Ribeye. It cut like butter and he really enjoyed it. Needless to say, we ordered too much food, intentionally, to bring home to eat the next day. Would not mind going back.

Very cool inside. The manager Nick warmly greeted us an even served our table. His recommendations were great. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

My husband and I visited this establishment yesterday to celebrate my birthday. To begin with, we were pleased to find the restaurant quite empty upon our arrival. PROS: both of our steaks were cooked to perfection, the mac and cheese and stewed collard greens were enjoyable, and the house steak sauce was quite good. CONS: both of our steaks seemed to lack seasoning. It appeared that some type of compound butter was used, but it didn’t enhance the flavor. While my husband’s side dish was hot, my collard greens were only semi-warm, almost cold. The total cost of our meal was nearly 150.

Overall my favorite dish were the mussels . The sauce for it . The steak didn’t taste seasoned at all but , it was cooked correctly. The mash potatoes taste like boxed or should I say you can make them at home. The crab cakes didn’t jumo out either . I’ve just had better they were bland as well.
Drinks over priced . The menu is overpriced for the bland tasting food.

This place is a jewel in the middle of Downtown Richmond. The service was so great, everyone is make sure you’re having a good time. The drinks… nothing short of fabulous. Bao buns are amazing, must have!!! The ribeye was perfectly cooked and the charred flavors are perfectly balanced. Finally, the sweet potato maple cheesecake… it should be sold in whole to go, this is incredible!

The food here was so good, even the fries and chicken tenders my kids got was exemplary! Now let’s talk about the steak. It was juicy and mouth watering good a most of us got the rib eye but even the New York strip was just as great. We have no complaints. We called ahead and were sat immediately upon entering with our table already set and water available. Just remarkable service, our waiter was on top of everything! Must try in Richmond! Another great tip parking was just right across the street. Enjoy!!

Service was ok because it was only a handful of people there and it took my food 30 minutes to arrive.
Prices were ok until I got my bill and it was a 20% surprise service charge that I wasn’t expecting for a party of 1.
Also the sides are very small I ordered some mashed potatoes and I was served a small scoop.
Definitely will not be going back there…don’t know why this place has such high reviews.
I should have followed my first mind and went to Fleming’s steakhouse!!

Some of recently had a business dinner here… We selected this restaurant based on the good reviews we read online. The day we went it was dead; in fact, we were the only table sat for well over an hour. The service we got from our server was very friendly and nice, but her training was slightly lacking… For instance, I asked how the steaks were prepared and she wasn’t aware. It was fine though, not a big deal, I blame management, not her. Overall, no issues with service, as she was sincerely interested in providing the best service she could.
Their menu looked pretty nice, it offered a decent selection of steaks and many other items, including fried chicken. Their side dishes were also rather appealing. One member of our party got a rib eye and he said it was outstanding! I got the filet and it was loaded with gristle, not what I’d expect from a steakhouse. Interesting that their steaks came with steak sauce, something nice steakhouses will never offer, but some do make a special/unique sauce and I would assume that is what this was. It was nice and actually helped with my filet. The crab cake that I got as an accompaniment with the steak was really good though.
Their spinach side dish was great, it was perfectly prepared. Their apple dessert was really good… served with ice cream, it was a nice finish to the meal. Wine list was pretty bad… the syrah I selected said it was a 2010 on the menu, but that’s not the vintage we got, and it tasted like water.
For a steakhouse, it didn’t have the wine I’d expect, the quality of meat I’d expect, not the trained staff I’d expect. I heard this was part of the same chain as Lillie Pearl, yet it is vastly different from that restaurant in many ways.

Server who was also the host and bartender on a Monday afternoon was great. He held it down. The grilled chicken sandwich was awesome. Flavorful. Fries were crispy. The price was reasonable like other restaurants with chicken sandwiches. Definitely not over priced.

The food was great, I had the sampler. No complaints there. The menu states that a 20% tip is included regardless of party size to pay the staff higher wages, which I’m ok with and embrace, my only issue is that after I paid, the waitress then doubled down on the tip saying that 20% doesn’t go to her and insisted that if we wanted to tip her we had to add additional tip. This was a very awkward interaction. It totaled to a 40% tip for a non-40%-tip service. Food was great but I won’t go again.
