The employees were friendly, and the food was delicious. Some of the best food I had in NOLA the catfish was a little salty but still really good. Everything else was nicely seasoned, and not too salty at all. The lamb chops were mouth watering. The seafood pasta was my favorite side. I would get it over the Mac and cheese because the seafood pasta had more flavor. The greens were good also. They were out of yams. The beignets were yummy. Best donuts ever. Not too sweet. Nice and warm the wait is about 20-30 mins. We called and placed our order ahead of time, and we still had to wait a bit. We wished they had seating, but they have a little seating at the other location

The food was so amazing, me and my family had no complaints. I had the fried lobster tail plate and added catfish. That was the biggest piece of fish I ever had lol. My whole family ordered something different and I tasted everything. They didn’t miss! The nice lady who took our order gave my son(2) a free doughnut he ate the whole thing. The beignets are fresh and so good too

This nice little gem is definitely added to my lunch spots! My food was absolutely delicious. Now it’s nowhere to sit or dine in but the food is so good you better take it to your car, park, or just bring it home and eat it. You won’t care that much after you taste it. I didn’t understand the salad underneath such hot food, it’s not really needed and it’s a few leaves but I love effort with some ranch dressing so I’m ok with that.
But let’s get back to this food, it’s a bit pricey but the quality honestly matches it except the salad… leave it out or maybe in a side container.
So please try this wonderful gem of a place out. The flavors, the seasonings, the love into the preparation was all there. Now this is a black owned establishment. You can taste the flavor from all the ancestors!

The young man who took our order was really nice, the food was cooked to order and the taste of everything was amazing. The donuts are delicious and I can’t wait to get back in my kitchen to try their seasoning my spouse purchased for me. Please go try them out while in New Orleans. I only took one star away, because you can not sit in for dining.

This was my first time eating here and it was absolutely amazing!!! Everything was well seasoned, the food was nice and hot, and I had enough to eat off this plate for two meals. The lamb was nice and tender and the seafood pasta and potatoes both had plenty of seafood. Everything on the plate was beyond good down to the croutons on the side salad. The service was quick (It only took about 15 minutes to come out after ordering). I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to try all the other delicious food they have!!

I had to take a bite of these glazed beignets before I took a pic they were still waaaaarrrrrrrmmmmmm @mkm.creations DID THAT. This super clean and efficiently ran take-out only establishment has officially been added to my list of places I going to eat every time I visit NOLA!!!
I also had a perfectly grilled medium steak, with creamy grits that had a really rich and delicious crawfish/Shrimp cream sauce. honey butter biscuit, scrambled eggs and a side of fried Oysters for my Sunday Brunch.

This place is absolutely amazing!! The food is great, and the desert creations in there are way too fabulous for words!! We got our first King Cake there, as Mardi Gras season was kicking off. It was ridiculous of course…ridiculously delicious!! If you are in NOLA, you’ve got to give them a try!

Food looks good , I’ve followed on Instagram for awhile. Drove by the location on Newton st, I would not stop or go in just based off the area. They have an abandoned house next door and people are always loitering. Not welcoming at all. Not their fault, unfortunate that people choose to loiter.
