MJ’s has consistently been an amazing experience–one of the best spots in Greensboro for a nicer meal in a comfortable setting. The food is magnificent, the chefs are conscientious of allergies (esp gluten sensitivities), and they make a solid mocktail for those who don’t drink. The meal is worth the cost, but keep in mind, it is costly. I go maybe once a year for different special occasions, and the occasions are always made all the more special for such incredible food.
The seating/layout is a bit cramped, but it’s comfortable, the staff are both knowledgeable and friendly, and the front entry is wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended!

First time here. It was warm and welcoming. All the food sounded good. The margarita was a tad strong but i think that’s a good thing! I’ll definitely return. What made this even better was getting to spend time with my dear friend ♥️.

MJ’s hosted our 20 year class reunion. FANTASTIC experience from the first phone call til the last bite was eaten! Tad and his team were wonderful to work with and took excellent care of our party. Everything was delicious and I love that the kitchen and fryer are gluten free! Fried calamari was a fun treat I don’t often get to enjoy. Thanks for making our evening special and for the tasty to go meals for family to enjoy later in the weekend!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, a great atmosphere! From the time we were seated until the time we left, our server, John, was so attentive, timely and professional! It was our first time dining here and it certainly won’t be the last!! We were having dinner celebrating my birthday! The cocktails were perfect and the food was fresh, beautiful presentation and so delicious!! Top that off, the turtle cheesecake was great as well! My only constructive feedback is parking, there was none available, so we had to park elsewhere and walk, so thankfully it wasn’t weathering at the time!

First time experience. Had to find a nice little romantic place for my wife for our Anniversary. This place was perfect!!! Very generous portions for fine dining. The flavors are on point. Everything on the menu is amazing. Had the fried oysters appetizer and the Pork Chop entree. Huge portion of protein. The collard greens are by far the best I’ve had anywhere in the country in my 43 years. My wife had the Halibut(fish of the day) with crab and caramelized onion risotto and it did not disappoint. Very fresh!!! Prosecco wine was very good also. Couldnt imagine having a better experience than we did. You guys rock! Shout out to Sarah(our server) and Tad(Chef)!!! We found our new spot and will be returning very soon!!! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu items!!!

We loved the cozy atmosphere of our dining area especially since it was a rainy evening. Everything from the chicken & gumbo soup & garden salad to the braised beef and thick bone-in tender pork chop was just lovely. We would do it all again. And, the staff is attentive & professional. Reservation is recommended.

$9 increase for shrimp and grits? Grits is average $2.50-$5 on most menus as it’s a very inexpensive item. Fancy grits you might pay $20 or more for. $32 is highway robbery and taking advantage of the situation. Just browsing online for a place with good grits. Dear dad’s increase was $6 for $24 total. Think I’ll go there.

Best meal I’ve had out in a very long time. The outdoor patio was well lit and the weather beautiful. My wife and I have to eat gluten free. Finding someplace to safely eat as a celiac is hard, we were so happy to find out that the entire menu is basically gluten free as the owner is celiac. Also have gluten free bread service. The braised beef was the best I’ve ever had and the gluten free calamari was tender and well seasoned. We have def found our new date night spot. Our server Chris was pleasant as well. No notes!
