Decided to treat my man here after he worked a 13 hour shift. This was our first time and we loved it! It’s such a nice setting and wasn’t overly crowded. The waitress was a sweetheart and we enjoyed our meals. Definitely coming back

First visit was Saturday, 8/20/22. I tried the Salmon croquettes breakfast, with eggs, and pancakes (which were fluffy and golden brown). Needless to say…I am going back this morning. Phenomenal taste, great service, reasonable price. Visit them before they disappear like most spots that are enjoyable these days.

This gem is a great find in the South suburbs. If you are out their way, you have to stop in and treat yourself to a good home-cooked meal. The staff is wonderful, but you have to take your appetite or a few friends because they feed you VERY well. And their prices are reasonable.

It was amazing start to finish. The chicken and rice soup was well seasoned and delish. The pancakes and waffles were fluffy. I wasn’t a super fan of the salmon croquettes because it had more potatoes than anything. Overall everything was splendid

This place is top ten when it comes to food and service. The only thing this place needs is a larger location for the number of people that they service. The food is ALWAYS , delicious, and plenty. The customer service is AMAZING each time. I highly recommend this spot to everyone who’s looking to get their stomach full and right.

The food is absolutely delicious and the customer service is amazing. I have tried several dishes and everything, I mean everything was seasoned well and tasty. I am never disappointed..My favorite is the thick fried to perfection pork chops with rice/gravy and side of collard greens!!!! My husband is addicted to the French Toast w/side salmon croquettes…A true hidden gem. M&J has become a family favorite for my household.

I have eaten in this restaurant and had it for takeout. When I have eaten in, the service has been fantastic and the food hot and delicious. The restaurant is immaculate and the employees and management are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. When I get takeout, it is mostly for the soup, which is delicious. The portions are big, the soup is always hot and it comes with a roll and butter.
