When I moved to Coffeyville back in 2023, I was surprised to see a small town with a sushi place. When I saw it was a food truck, I admit that I was skeptical. But the allure of sushi is too great for me to pass this up. And I have enjoyed better sushi from this bright orange food truck than anything I had during my year and a half living in the grand city of Wichita.
So, when I can buy a hibachi entree, a house roll, a deep fried roll, and two specialty rolls for a grand total of under $50, that’s pretty incredible. And because this is a food truck, there’s almost an expectation of leaving with my food, going home, and then enjoying my meal while watching my favorite show.
If raw fish, rice, and seaweed is something you really enjoy eating, then you could do way, way worse than Mizumi. If you’re anything like me, and I know I am, you’ll likely visit this place more than once.

The staff and the food both are amazing! We absolutely love coming to the Mizumi food truck. The staff is always so very kind and the food is always amazing. They offer fried sushi options and stir fry. The go-to everytime is the Ironman roll, and the beef and noodle stir fry.
