So we were at Fed Ex and then decided to try this place since we seen the signs saying they were open. The food was great, as always fresh and super fast as with most Sushi places. The service was great super quick to explain specials and refill drinks. The atmosphere was nice and calm for lunch. We are very pleased with what we ordered and how it was brought out. Go in and have it for your self so you can see 😉

nice ambiance and interior. the menu was a bit underwhelming; i found almost no rolls that didn’t have either (mostly shrimp) tempura, spicy tuna, or cream cheese. my biggest critique is the lack of diversity in the menu, which resulted in most of the rolls sounding nearly identical. the food itself was good enough to satisfy a sushi craving but nothing unique. if I were to rank the rolls we ordered, it would go from right to left. took around 20 minutes for our food to come out on an unbusy night. Mizuki is a nice spot as a nearby and spontaneous trip, but I would not plan to go here because of great food.

Sushi rolls were amazing! Great prices! Incredible flavor! Be prepared for a long wait (nearly an hour for 5 rolls). Our server was terrible! Not only did he start his greeting with not wanting to be there, but he never bothered to check on while we waited. He never asked once if we needed more water or needed anything else during our visit. He didn’t even say good night or thank you when we paid our bill. He truly didn’t want to be there. Luckily, the host was sweet, and the food was great!

We came for lunch on Sunday around noon. It was still early in the day so it wasn’t crowded. The restaurant is pretty spacious too. Nicely decorated. We order hot sake, two appetizers and two rolls to share. The rolls are 50% off. I’m not sure if this is grand opening promotion or marketing strategy to make you think you are getting a good deal?

Good portion and size. The slices are not cut too thin or too thick. I like that they put a good amount of jalapeños on the side, instead of on the top of the fish. 4/5

Solid 4 stars for the food. However, the service was awkward and uncomfortable. No greeting or welcome upon entering the restaurant. Alright, NBD. Asked us if we want to order after sitting down for one minute. Ah, I need to look at the menu but you can bring us water. After the food came, he kept asking if we want anything else while we were still enjoying our food and conversation. We were half way through the dishes at this point. He came around again when we still had like 6-7 pieces of rolls left. When we said we didn’t need anything, he asked if we want the check. Dude, we’re still eating!! We felt like we were being rushed out. Yes, we were taking our time because it’s Sunday lunch, but we were also mindful of the restaurant capacity. There were plenty of open tables and it’s not like you have a line of people waiting for a table! Rude! Service 2/5.

I was very happy at the Roseville branch. I’m happy with this one in Elk Grove as well. Sashimi plate was fresh and the slices are thicker than other Sushi places. I did not visit the restroom, so I have no comment. Place is clean with modern interior decoration. Our server was probably nervous and kept forgetting what we ordered. Love their hot tea, but I wish they leave the tea kettle on the table in order to save time for staff and customer doesn’t have to wait to get a refill.

This is a top shelf dining experience. You are treated like family here. The service is exemplary and the food is bursting with flavor. If you want to experience Sushi on a topshelf level at reasonable prices, you owe it to yourself to come to Mizuki. You’ll be glad you did!

We tried every sushi place in elk Grove multiple times and kept coming back to this on. The snowballs are excellent so is spicy edamame White dragon. The kids like the Happy roll they are always friendly and accommodating to kids.

I ordered 3 rolls- Red Dragon, Tsunami Roll and 49’er Roll for takeout. Pricing is 50% off the menu price. It was easy to order over the phone and I didn’t have to wait long for my order. Staff who helped me was very pleasant. The rolls could be better if they weren’t slathered in too much sauce.
