My family has officially decided to make this place our new go to for family night! We did the Hibachi and it was great! The Chef made it fun and entertaining the service was great and the food as well! I will definitely bring anyone visiting me here as well! Both kids and adults had a great time! I’m working in Allentown, PA this week, and my colleagues and I decided to go out for hibachi. I had this spot saved from last year and had also seen it recommended on social media, so we decided to give it a try.
The restaurant is surprisingly spacious. In the front, there are 12-15 booths and tables for regular menu dining, and in the back, there are about 8 hibachi grills with lots of seating for the cook-in-front-of-you experience. Since it wasn’t busy at all during our visit, we opted for hibachi at the grill.
It’s worth noting – I understand it’s been over 95 degrees lately, but with all the grills out in the open, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, to the point where we were sweating while we ate.
I ordered the two-protein combo with steak and chicken. This usually comes with soup, salad, vegetables, two shrimp, and rice. I requested no vegetables and asked to substitute noodles for rice, with extra noodles (knowing there would be an additional charge, which I was fine with).
Unfortunately, that’s where the experience fell short. My order arrived without the extra noodles I requested, yet I was still charged for them. When I asked about it, the waitress seemed confused, as if no one had ever requested to swap rice for noodles before. She was really nice but very confused about my request and if I’m paying for something, I want what I ordered. On top of that, the steak was very chewy, even though I ordered it medium.
The food itself was typical hibachi fare – decent, but nothing special. The experience overall left a lot to be desired, especially being charged for something I didn’t receive. I didn’t want to create more confusion or cause a scene, so l let it go, but I likely wouldn’t return. There are plenty of hibachi places back home that handle these types of requests without issue, so next time I’m in town, I’ll check out other options.

1st visit to Mizu. This used to be Oshi a few years ago. It’s located in the Tilghman St shopping center across from the movie theater. Lots of parking. Prices were competitive and portions were nice. My mushroom soup was excellent and both sushi rolls were good. Service was pleasant. I would like to see an expanded sushi roll menu. I did not do the hibachi just the dine in. Will return

I began my meal with a refreshing cup of green tea, followed by the steak appetizer, which was nothing short of phenomenal. The dish featured tender steak paired with creamy mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus, all topped off with a delicate horseradish white sauce that added just the right amount of kick. The steak practically melted in my mouth, and the presentation was impeccable. It was the kind of appetizer that leaves a lasting impression.
For the main course, I decided to try a variety of sushi, starting with the eel and avocado roll, followed by the spicy salmon roll, and finishing with the spicy tuna roll. Each piece of sushi was exceptionally fresh, with flavors that were both vibrant and perfectly balanced. The rolls were crafted with care, and the quality of the fish really stood out, making every bite a delight.
Overall, my experience at Mizu Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse was fantastic. From the outstanding appetizer to the high-quality sushi, everything was done to perfection. I would happily return and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Got seated right away during lunch hour. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Rock Shrimp appetizer and it was great! Highly recommend! Crispy, sweet and just a tiny but of spice. So good! The sushi rolls were also delicious. I wish my stomach and wallet were bigger so I could sample a larger variety. Miso soup could have used a little more salt, but if you’re watching your sodium, I guess it’s not bad. Will definitely go again!

Called in a hibachi dinner to go and was very pleased with the food. We ordered a chicken and scallop hibachi dinner and the food was excellent. Portions were large and most important the chicken and scallops were delicious with large pieces. The meal comes with delicious fried rice and veggies as well as a nice salad and soup. Great location close to AMC for dinner before or after a movie. Ample free parking and close to shopping. Nice comfortable tables and booths as well as hibachi tables for fun and lively dinners. Food is good. Have tried some other dishes on previous visit and everything is good. Keep up the great work.

Super friendly and attentive staff. I got the sushi lunch combo- three rolls for 13.95. The rice was very fresh and the salmon as well. It’s hard to find a good house salad dressing from most Hibachi places, but theirs is always great-with good flavor and not gritty.

A nice Japanese steakhouse with hibachi and great sushi. We only dined in for dinner, so didn’t experience their hibachi. The spicy tuna gyoza appetizer was terrific, and the seafood special entrees we got were both great. They don’t serve alcohol but offer you to BYOB.
