Gosh, I love this place so much. The food is delicious and the staff are all incredible. Our family has been going here for years and it’s truly a gem of New City. They make the cutest little ice cream teddy bears! My kids freak out for them!

Mizu Hibachi and Sushi is hands down my absolute favorite hibachi restaurant in Rockland County! I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and it’s easily the best in the area. Since the new management took over, the place has undergone tremendous improvements. Johan, our hibachi chef, was amazing! He cooked everything to perfection and accommodated all our special requests. The food here is absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor in every bite. They offer a wide variety of sushi platters and rolls, and I highly recommend trying them out. Not only do they have great lunch and dinner specials, but the portion sizes are well worth the price! The service provided by the staff is always fantastic. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The restaurant itself is always clean, and the atmosphere is truly one of a kind. I can confidently say that I’ll continue coming back to Mizu Hibachi and Sushi for years to come. It’s a gem that should not be missed!

Outstanding food and outstanding service. We went for a birthday, and they provided a dessert for the birthdays we were celebrating. I definitely recommend going, as it’s an amazing experience with amazing food. Additionally, it’s on the quieter side, with a very calm atmosphere. Very well-decorated too!!

I went earlier tonight with a college buddy of mine who had never been to a Hibachi restaurant before and he thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service.

Welcome to Mizu we hope you bring your own heat! We went on New Year’s Eve for family dinner and it was freezing, food was cold . We ended up eating our dinner in winter coats ! It used to be good not anymore i guess! Big Disappointment! People next to us were eating in Winter jackets as well!

Always a delicious experience when we visit this swanky spot in new city. The staff is wonderful, very attentive and courteous. Food is presented beautifully and also very tasty. Fresh and delicious, definitely a long time customer.

Went for New Year’s Eve dinner with family.. no heat in the restaurant, we were all sitting in jackets..place was absolutely freezing!!! Food cooled off in minutes and meat was dry… we waited about half an hour for a waiter to take our drink and food order.. I really don’t have anything more nice to say so I’ll stop now.. used to love this place ..

Mizu Hibachi & Sushi has been one of our go-to spots in New City since they opened. We come here at least twice a month, and at this point, the owner and staff feel like family. The service is always outstanding—friendly, fast, and attentive.
The food comes out quickly and is always served at the right temperature—hot for hibachi, cold and fresh for sushi. While the hibachi show was a big hit when our son was younger (and the chefs always put on a great performance), we now prefer to sit at a table and enjoy a more relaxed meal.
The food, service, and prices check all the boxes. We’ve never had a bad experience. In fact, we’ve hosted several large gatherings here, including birthday parties and even a karaoke night with over 50 people—and they always accommodate us with ease.
One of our favorite things? As soon as we walk in, they bring our drinks without even asking. They usually know our orders too—except for me, since I like to switch it up!
We truly can’t say enough good things about Mizu. It’s a gem in New City, and we’re so grateful to have it nearby.
