I was there today to celebrate Kevin’s birthday. The food is fresh .the cook is really good . The owner is more than a gentleman. I can never say anything bad about this establishment. I LOVED IT !

We came here for a family dinner after a long time and we all had a great fun time. Our Hibachi Chef Mr. Daniel was outstanding, skillful and on fire!! All in 100% recommend and do ask for Mr. Daniel as your chef next time!

I ordered beef lo mein & I found hair in my food. It was delivered to me with a greased up paper bag. I mean soaked with grease. Gross! NEVER eat there again. I’m going to call Better Business Bureau on them.

Mizu is a great spot for hibachi! Friendly staff, good portion value for the price, and great chef show. Good for large groups or even just 2. Highly recommend!

I am sad by the news I have to break, Mizu has been a well established restaurant in the Tottenville neighborhood for years years and years. Great food great service. I went in today and sadly got sick from the food. All the food was undercooked and overpriced. Mizu please get back to your ways For the sake of Tottenville.

Last week food was average at best . The chef was fun, but the service was horrendous from the moment we sat down to the moment we left they couldn’t wait to get us out of there. It was very rude. For an empty restaurant, they could’ve let people take their time

I am someone who love hibachi and can very critical of it when going to a place.

Here is the good and the bad.

The service was very good, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was very good as well. I feel the portions were fair for what it appears for the area.

I did not like how there was a charge for fried rice as most hibachi places do not charge for that. They also do not have unsweetened tea as well.

I would be back I think it’s one of the better hibachi places in my area. I will be back to try other items to see if my review changes.

Our favorite hibachi restaurant!!! The food is always delicious, service is good and pretty quick also. I have a dairy allergy so they consistently make my meal separately in the back without any butter and it always tastes great. There are 2 sides to the restaurant: the side with hibachi tables and the restaurant side with regular tables. We have dined here many, many times and both sides are just as good. We also order for pickup and food is still warm when we arrive home. If you want the show, sit at the hibachi table. If you want to chat a bit more and face everyone in your party, opt for the restaurant side. Hibachi dinner comes with soup, salad, your entree, mixed vegetables, white rice and ice cream. I always “upgrade” my white rice to fried rice. It’s the best! It only costs a few dollars and it’s worth it. For dinner, I either get the hibachi chicken & steak combo or the hibachi filet mignon. Dinner portions are generous so I always have leftovers. Lunch portions are good also. Thank you, Mizu staff! We will be back again soon!

The tuna tartar was very sweet!!!! My role was mushy. The calamari was undercooked. But I will say the dumpling soup was very good!!!! And for the price there are better options in town
