This is the best Asian restaurant in the area. The sushi is amazing and the martinis are on another level. The service is always fantastic, with a fast food turnout and a great bar. Special shout out to Roman, Kathryn, and Kei!

My husband and I visit Mizu 21 every week for lunch. It is our favorite restaurant in the area for amazing food, great drinks, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. I usually order the 3 for $17 sushi meal and my husband usually orders the curry. However, there are so many fantastic options on the menu! We have ordered hibachi, lo mein, sesame chicken, pad thai, fried rice, and many more. We keep coming back because no matter what you order to eat or drink, the food is always exceptional and the service is top notch.

Today we ordered our usual sushi lunch, edamame, miso soup, hot and sour soup, and beef red curry. Everything was incredible. The edamame is cooked to perfection, and buttery/salty with every bite. The miso is the best I’ve ever had in the state. The hot and sour soup is divine. The sushi is SO FRESH it is incredible. No matter what rolls I choose, it is always delicious. The curry is my husband’s favorite, and no matter how often we go there, he always needs to order it.

We love everyone on the waitstaff! They are incredibly kind and welcoming, and super patient. Sometimes it takes us a while to order because there are so many incredible options, and whoever is our server is more than happy to wait for us. The martinis have a little bit of ice pieces in them, which is the best. It’s not on the rocks, but it adds a little bit of character and something different to their martinis. I love many types of martinis, but their lychee and pomegranate are one of a kind. Also, I must say that the lychee martinis are incredibly authentic, with great big pieces of lychee soaking in them. Seriously, they are amazing!

Usually my husband and I find a place for lunch, visit a couple times, and then we’re onto the next restaurant. This is not the case with Mizu. We visit there once a week (usually on Tuesdays!) and they are a step above most of the restaurants in the area. You can feel their care in every dish you eat and every drink you sip. No matter what you get, you know you’re getting fresh, quality food for an affordable price. Also, the staff is always happy to see you and greets you with a smile!

Seriously, give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

October 2025 – Exceptional experience on our first visit for a special occasion. Magnificent space – large rooms, high ceilings, engaging wall art and visual displays. There are separate rooms for hibachi cuisine with multiple tables if you’re looking for a large group event, and a bar.

My cucumber gin martini was mixed well with a good pour and accompanied by an artistic cucumber peel.

For starters and fun, we ordered tempura shrimp after asking our waitress if this app was enough to share and she said yes. Even though this is a simple dish that’s been around a long time, it’s a good test to see what to expect from a restaurant’s kitchen.
Delicious. Four large pieces lightly fried in panko with the perfect accompanying sauce.

For our mains, the three spicy combination sushi rolls, yellowtail, tuna and salmon, were the right size and seasonings. The miso soup and salad that came with this order were both likeable. Of note, the wasabi here has quite a kick.

A la carte sashimi yellowtail and tuna were fresh but my only small negative in this whole review is the fish could have been sliced thinner. The spicy tuna roll had good flavor. Hot house sake was standard fare.

Mizu 21 surprised us by bringing a birthday ice cream sundae we were not expecting, lit candle and all. I did tell our server this was a birthday lunch when we first were seated. Going back anytime soon? Absolutely. Arigato.

Open 7 days a week. Happy hour 3-5pm.

Hello, let me begin this by stating that I never leave reviews. I go into every restaurant with kindness, an open mind, and a background of working in the service industry.

I had brought my group of four to Mizu’s, as I had been before but two people in my party had not. Our waitress, Ally, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and had a positive attitude which made our meal a bit better to endure than it intially was. We ordered pork dumplings, crab rangoons, edamame, and sushi rolls to share.

The pork dumplings came with a sauce, and I was the first to dip my dumpling in. When I took it out, there was a gelatinous string attached to it. When I went to inspect it, it did not look like a worm or anything but maybe starch that solidified..? I’ve worked in restaurants for a very long time and am almost certain that this is what it was, but it must have been sitting for a while to develop like this. I told our waitress and she was quick to take it and remove it from the bill (thank you).

Our wasabi and ginger were stale and crusted, as if it was prepared a day or two prior and not properly refrigerated. Our edamame was cold and hard to eat, but we were so hungry we didn’t care.
Our food was below mid and we spent $150 in all for our party. I do not think that this restaurant will be revisited by us in the future…

The only thing worth spending was our tip.

We had a wonderful night there. Unfortunately they were too busy for us to sit at the hibachi table so we sat at a regular one. So I suggest making a reservation. Our waitress made up for missing out on the entertainment. Mikayla was so incredibly kind and charming. She was constantly checking in and chatting with us. We were never without because of her. Highly recommend

This place is great! Our server, amy, was quick, friendly and helpful. The food came out very quickly and was perfect. Pad Thai could have been a bit spicier, but that’s not a huge deal. The atmosphere was really nice too. The hibachi is far enough away that if you’re in the dining room you can’t really hear anything. We WILL be back!

Our hibachi chef shot cooking oil in our mouths instead of saki accidently…….

The food is okay, interior is beautiful, but the staff aren’t very nice. Went as a large party, the waitress felt like she was required to shout like a school teacher to get our attention. We had all been listening to her already. She just shouted extremely loud and rudely as if we had been talking over her, yet we weren’t or hadn’t prior to then.

Very nice, renovated place.
Very clean.
About food, sushi wasnt the greatest. It was hard to find the taste in sushi.
Hibachi steak/shrimp with rice and noodles.
Noodles were the worst from that, such weird taste.
Rice was very good, steak tasted like wasnt fresh and shrimp was okay. Portion wasnt that big for 31$.
Salad was good, fresh vegies (mostly lettuce) and sauce was delicious.
Overall food 3/5.
