Came here for dinner on a Sunday. We were seated very quickly since the restaurant wasn’t full, but the menu was quite limited with many items unavailable. We ordered tamagoyaki, a 3-kind sashimi, soft shell crab roll, grilled hamachi fin (wanted the big size but only the small was available), and the 6-kind oden.
The only highlight was the grilled hamachi fin — that was good. The rest of the dishes were just okay. The tamago was a bit too sweet, the soft shell crab roll had more rice than filling, and the sashimi was quite underwhelming for the price point. The oden wasn’t to my taste, though my partner liked it.
Service was also on the slower side. The staff saw our empty plates but didn’t bother clearing them. I even accidentally spilled some oden soup on myself, and the staff standing at the next table noticed but walked away and pretended he didn’t see anything. Really not the kind of service you expect when there’s a service charge. Overall, a pretty average experience.

Happened to drop by Springside to pass something and was craving Japanese food, so I chanced upon Miyuki Izakaya. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a really nice vibe. The food was really good .
Ordered the salmon sashimi it was fresh and The hamachi was so good, and the hokke shioyaki was super tender and yummy. The ikura chawanmushi was my favourite.
Served by two young girls who were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come by again. Thanks for the delicious meal and great service!

Warm, cosy restaurant with reasonably fast service (I went on a Fri night when it’s about 80% full) and very good food.
Most of the food we ordered were delicious, except maybe the Cha Soba. The texture of the soba and the dipping sauce did not hit the right spot. Pls see photo captions for more details regarding the food.

Our family have had multiple wonderful dining experiences at Milan Shokudo. I went with my wife and our two kids, and from the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The décor had a charming Japanese‑Italian fusion feel, setting the tone for the meal ahead.
We decided to order a variety of dishes to share, and every single one was a hit. The kids loved the cheesy baked doria; bubbling hot with perfectly seasoned rice and a generous layer of gooey cheese. My wife couldn’t stop raving about the smoked duck carbonara, which was creamy, rich, and cooked to perfection. I went for the quattro cheese pizza, served with a drizzle of honey, the balance of sweet and savoury was simply divine.
What made the evening even better was how family‑friendly the place is. The staff were attentive and patient, happily accommodating our requests and making sure the kids felt included. Service was quick, but never rushed, allowing us to enjoy our food and conversation at a relaxed pace.
The free‑flow drinks bar was a fun touch for the kids, and the portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming. By the end of the meal, we were all happily full and already talking about what we’d try next time.
