Place was filling as soon as it opened. We were seated within 30 minutes. We opted to sit at the grill as I wanted my kids to have that experience. They were not disappointed. Plenty of food for price which I thought was reasonable. The kids ate almost every bite. Everything cooked perfectly. It was just under 2 hours including the wait time.

Hair was in my rice dish not matching my stand. All they did was offer to remake or credit for only the rice. Their kitchen staff needs to have hair nets. I hope an health department inspector mandates this to them.

Chef Colin is the BEST!!! He is the most interactive and is the best chef there! His food is always amazing! He is great with kids and goes above and beyond. I have been dining here since they opened. Food is always excellent. Atmosphere is pretty good. They don’t seem to entertain as much anymore but the good quality and portions are great!

We had an awesome time celebrating our granddaughters 18th birthday on Saturday night November 15th. The service was amazing. The waiter kept our glasses filled, the chef kept us laughing. And the food was just delicious.

We had our annual Thanksgiving dinner with our Party of 22. We reserved the back room. The fire alarm went off after the chefs did the “fire trick”. Our whole party got to listen to the most irritating sound the entire time they were cooking and eating. Very disappointing to have spent so much money on food and not enjoy it due to the atmosphere. Of course they got it fixed as we were getting our checks. The manager didn’t come to apologize or offer any sort of comp on the bill for the major inconvenience.
**** edit they did reach out to me and offered what I feel is a fair resolution and response. It is nice when a business takes ownership of someone not having a good experience and making it right. I will definitely be back to try again.

If you are a fan of the Japanese steak house concept, you are going to love Miyami. They have a great sushi bar, open bar, and hibachi cooking. I had the steak and chicken combo for lunch and it was very good and reasonably priced..Give these folks a try. A healthy choice

He has to the best chef we’ve had at any Japanese Steakhouse restaurant. His food is awesome and he makes the experience lots of fun. If they’re not busy ask for Colin.

I used to go to Miyami a lot before Covid, but after that, it just wasn’t the same. I went a couple of months ago for my daughter and her friends’ middle school promotion, and the experience wasn’t good at all. But this time, we went back for my daughter’s friend’s birthday, and it was a big turnaround! We had Chef Colin, and he was amazing super personable, fun, and the food was slamming! He definitely made the night worth it. I will return and hopefully we can have his services again.

Food was okay. The person rolling the sushi was incompetent. They charge 5 dollars if you don’t want mushrooms in your vegetables. The waitress was not there to work. I had to stand up and shake my drink cup to get a refill. She didn’t come back to the table for over 30 minutes and the place was empty.
